Objective: 1.To explore the clinical effectiveness of treating facial paralysis from the perspective of spleen and stomach by observing the clinical efficacy of tonifying spleen and supplementing stomach acupuncture combined with head acupuncture in the convalescence stage of facial paralysis;2.To provide a better treatment plan for acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of facial paralysis and further improve the clinical efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of facial paralysis in the convalescence stage by comparing the curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion in the convalescence stage of facial paralysis. Methods: A total of 72 patients with facial paralysis in jilin Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups.36 patients in the treatment group were treated with acupuncture combined with head acupuncture, and 36 patients in the control group were treated with conventional acupuncture.Patients in both groups were treated for 2 courses(2 weeks as a course),once a day,6 days a week, and 1 day of rest. Before treatment, treatment 2 weeks,4 weeks after treatment respectively on two groups of patients with House Brackmann facial nerve function assessment scale(HBGS),facial deformity index(FDI)scale determination, evaluation of patients before and after the treatment of facial paralysis, social psychological barriers for improvement, establish a database, statistical analysis, compared two groups of patients with clinical efficacy. Results: 1.Comparison before treatment: there was no statistical difference in gender, age, course of disease and other basic information between the two groups;HBGS and FDI were tested before treatment, and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),with comparability.2.Efficacy comparison: after 2 courses of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.18%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 88.24%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.HBGS: Compared with before treatment, facial nerve function grade of 2 and 4 weeks after treatment was improved in both groups(P<0.05).After 2 and 4 weeks of treatment, the treatment group was more effective than the control group(P<0.05).4.FDI: The scores of patients in both groups were better after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment than before, and the difference was statistically significant.Comparison between groups, after 2 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment, the body function score(FDIP)in the treatment group increased more than the control group, and the social function score(FDIS)decreased more significantly than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: 1.The method of invigorating the spleen and benefiting the stomach combined with scalp acupuncture and routine acupuncture has a good effect on the recovery period of facial paralysis.2.The therapeutic effect of invigorating spleen and benefiting stomach acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture in the recovery period of facial paralysis is better than that of routine acupuncture.3.The method of reinforcing spleen and benefiting stomach acupuncture combined with scalp acupuncture in the treatment of facial paralysis has good curative effect and high safety, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
