Objective: To analyze the changes of blood-routine parameters before and after treatment of all frequency sudden sensorineural hearing loss to explore the prognostic factors. Methods: Data from 102 patients with SSNHL at all frequencies were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into the effective group(n= 59)and the ineffective group(n= 43)based on hearing improvement.Blood-routine parameters, including white blood cell(WBC),neutrophil(NEUT),monocyte(MONO),platelet(PLT),lymphocyte(LYM),neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR),monocyte-to-lymphocyte ratio(MLR),platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),mean platelet volume(MPV),platelet distribution width(PDW)and red blood cell distribution width(RDW),were analyzed before and after treatment in both groups. Results: After treatment, the levels of NLR and RDW in the ineffective group were significantly increased(P<0.05),and the level of LYM in the effective group was significantly increased(P<0.05).The levels of NLR,MLR and RDW tended to be higher in the ineffective group than those in the effective group after treatment, whereas that of LYM was lower in the ineffective group(P<0.05).The levels of PLR before and after treatment were significant different between groups at one-month follow-up(P<0.05).The levels of NLR,MLR,PLR,RDW,and LYM after treatment were associated with the improvement of hearing.Logistic regression analysis showed that late initiation of treatment and high level of NLR after treatment were independent risk factors for prognosis of all frequency SSNHL.Conclusion: Prognosis of all frequency SSNHL is related to initiation time of treatment and the level of NLR,MLR,PLR,RDW and LYM after treatment.Following up these indicators is helpful to predict the long-term prognosis of all frequency SSNHL.
