Evaluation Value Of Serum Procalcitonin To Albumin Ratio On The Condition And Prognosis Of Sepsis Patients

Objective:To explore the evaluation value of the ratio of serum procalcitonin(PCT)to albumin(ALB)for the severity and prognosis of patients with sepsis.Methods:Retrospective analysis 75 patients with sepsis were treated in the emergency department of Shanxi Bethun Hospital from January 2019 to January 2020.divided into sepsis non-shock group(55 cases)and septic shock group(20 cases).The clinical indicators on the day of admission were monitored,the PCT/ALB ratio was calculated,and the SOFA score and APACHE score were evaluated.Logistic regression analysis of independent risk factors for septic shock.Divided into death group(10 cases)and survival group(65 cases)according to the outcome of 28d.Using t-test,x~2Comparing the differences between groups.Cox regression analyzed the independent risk factors of septic shock,Predictive analysis of ROC curve for evaluating the prognosis of patients with sepsis.Kaplan-Meier survival curve chart analyzes the relationship between PCT/ALB combined SOFA score and mortality,P<0.05 is statistically significant.Results:APACHEⅡscore,PCT,SOFA score,PCT/ALB,Lac was lower in the sepsis group than in the septic shock group,ALB was higher in the sepsis group.Outcome was differences between the two groups statistically significant difference(P<0.05),There is no significant difference in statistics of other indicators.SOFA score,PCT/ALB,Lac,APACHEⅡscore are independent risk factors for septic shock.PCT,PCT/ALB,APACHEⅡand SOFA were higher than survival group in the death group,ALB was lower than survival group.and the outcome was also different between the two groups,and the difference was statistically significant,PCT/ALB,SOFA are independent risk factors for the patient’s 28d mortality risk.ROC curve analysis shows that PCT/ALB had the best prognostic value in predicting patients with sepsis at 28 days,which was superior to other indicators.high PCT/ALB was significantly higher than that of low PCT/ALB group.Conclusion:APACHEⅡscore,PCT,ALB,PCT/ALB,Lac,SOFA score are helpful for the evaluation of the condition of patients with sepsis;in septic shock,APACHEⅡscore,PCT/ALB,and Lac,SOFA score are independent risk factor.PCT/ALB,SOFA an independent risk factor for predicting 28d mortality in patients with septic shock,PCT/ALB was superior to single indicators for sepsis patients prognosis prediction.
