ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to explore the current situation, characteristics and changing trend of the physique monitoring of people aged 20-69 years in Anhui province,to find out the influencing factors of people with unqualified physical fitness, and to provide scientific basis and reference advice for improving the physical level of people aged20-69 years in Anhui province and the implementation of the national fitness program.MethodsIn this study,39803 people aged between 20 and 69 years in Anhui Province were collected during the national physical fitness monitoring in 2014,and were divided according to age, sex, and urban and rural areas. We used questionnaire survey, index measurement and mathematical statistics to collect the data of physical fitness monitoring.Excel 2016 and SPSS 23.0 software were used to analyze qualitative and quantitative data.Single factor and multiple factor analysis were used to investigate the influencing factors of physical disqualification.Results1.Physical condition of residents aged 20-69 years in Anhui ProvinceThe overall"compliance rate"of residents aged 20-69 years in Anhui province is87.23%,lower than the overall national level, among which the gap between the elderly aged 60-69 years and the national level is the largest,3.8 percentage points lower than the overall national level. There were statistically significant differences in physical fitness ratings between different ages(Z=-6.295,P<0.001).The results of pairwise comparison showed that the differences in physical fitness ratings between two age groups were statistically significant(P<0.001).With the increase of age,the physical level of the population showed a downward trend. The age of physical disqualification in the 20-39 years old group and the 60-69 years old group was lower than the age of physical qualification. The age of physical disqualification was higher than the age of physical qualification. However, there was no statistically significant difference between the sexes(Z=0.035,P=0.972).2.Policies and facilities for fitness activitiesThe results of the study showed that more than 95 percent of the respondents’work units(villages)did not provide physical exercise subsidies, higher than the overall percentage of the country.More than 70%of the respondents live or work in public sports venues and facilities. With the growth of age,the percentage of people with sports venues and facilities decreases gradually.3.Physical activityThis study found that the proportion of people who use walking and cycling as means of transportation increases with age(?~2=2595.848,P<0.001).The work of 20-39 years old group and 40-59 years old group was mainly done with light physical activity, while the work of 60-69 years old group was mostly done with heavy physical activity. The daily leisure activities of all age groups are mainly activities without physical exertion, and with the increase of age,the proportion of no physical activity decreases gradually(?~2=172.738,P<0.001).In general, people aged 20-69 mainly engage in light physical activity during work and non-physical activity during leisure time, indicating that people aged 20-69 have insufficient physical activity.4.Physical exerciseThe total number of people who regularly take part in physical exercise accounts for33.7%of the population. In all age groups, moderate intensity accounted for more than50%.The choice of exercise items is relatively simple, all age groups take walking as the main exercise item. The main reasons for all age groups to participate in physical exercise were recreation and increased physical activity, with the main obstacle being"lack of time".5.The constitution unqualified rate of residents in Anhui province and its possible causesThe education level of the three age groups was negatively correlated with the unqualified rate.Physical exercise had no significant effect on 20-39 years old,but had a significant effect on 40-69 years old. There was a significant correlation between occupational type and physical failure rate. The unqualified rate of people aged 40-69 in agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery and water conservancy production is always on the high side, while the unqualified rate of people aged 20-69 without occupation is on the high side. With the increase of age,the unqualified rate of rural physique increased continuously, and the 40-69 age group was significantly higher than that of urban population. In different age groups, the order of the main influencing factors for the constitution failure rate was different. In 20-39 years old,the main factors for the high constitution failure rate were urban and rural types and occupational types.Between the ages of 40 and 59,they are mainly engaged in physical exercise and urban and rural types.Between the ages of 60 and 69 years, the main factor is whether to keep exercising.ConclusionThe overall"reaching rate"of the physical fitness of the residents aged 20-69 in Anhui province is lower than the overall level of the whole country, and there is a lack of physical activity on the whole, and the influencing factors of the physical fitness of the residents in different ages are different. The results of this study suggest that prevention intervention by age may be effective in later stage.A series of measures, such as increasing government funding, promoting the construction of sports infrastructure, and building a"smart sports"platform, deserve to be expected.
