Clinical Observation Of Restoration Of Posterior Dental Defects By Onlay And Fiber Post-core Crown After Root Canal Therapy

Objective This study by comparing the root canal treatment after onlay and fiber post core crown prosthesis after fang body defect of clinical curative effect,assessment of root canal treatment after the two repair way during the 6 months and 12 months after the curative effect of five aspects,namely: the restoration of broken off,the preservation of the abutment teeth,edge adaptability,adjacency relations and bleeding index,so as to the choice of the ways of repairing after root canal therapy in clinic.Methods From January 2017 to December 2018,60 posterior teeth of 58 patients with the one wall defect after root canal therapy were selected as the research subjects.Fifty-eight patients were enrolled,aged from 22 to 53 years old,with an average age of 34 years old.In total,there were 60 molars,28 maxillary and 32 mandibular teeth.Exclusion of gingival inflammation is a necessary preparation before tooth restoration.58 patients were randomly selected for the restoration of onsets and fiber post core crowns,of which 30 were in the all-porcelain onsets group(12 males,18 females).There were 30 cases in the post-core-crown group,including 13 males and 15 females.Sixty teeth of 58 patients were followed up at 6 and 12 months after repair treatment.The clinical efficacy of the two different repair methods was evaluated and compared in five aspects,including fracture and loss of prosthetic body,preservation of abutment,marginal adaptability,adjacency relationship and bleeding index.Results1.In terms of edge adaptability and adjacency,the restoration of the all-ceramic onlay group and the post-core-crown group were followed up within 12 months.The restoration rate of the all-ceramic onlay group and the fiber post-core-crown group reached grade A was 96.7% and 93.3% respectively.2.There were no significant differences in restoration integrity,dental integrity,edge adaptability,adjacency relationship and gingival health status between all-porcelain onlay and fiber post core crown(P>0.05).conclusionAfter root canal therapy,all-ceramic onlays and fibered-cored-crown restorations had the same short-term efficacy in prosthesis integrity,dental integrity and edge adaptability,and the onlays were superior to fibered-cored-crown restorations in adjacency relationship and rhyming health.
