Clinical Observation Of Bushen Qiangdu Huoxue Prescription In The Treatment Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective: A case-control study was conducted on the treatment of Ankylosing Spondylitis(AS)(blood stasis obstruction type)by Bushen Qiangdu Huoxue prescription combined with conventional western medicine(salazosulfopyridine +diclofenac sodium),so AS to provide a theoretical basis for Bushen Qiangdu Huoxue prescription for the treatment of AS(blood stasis obstruction type).Methods: 60 cases of AS(blood stasis obstruction type)patients in the outpatient department of Bone injury diagnosis and treatment center of Henan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine were selected.SPSS was used to randomly divide them into experimental group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was given salazosulfopyridine + diclofenac sodium,and the experimental group was given the formula of tonifying kidney,strengthening body and promoting blood circulation on the basis of the control group.The observation period of the two groups was 3 months,and the safety indicators were checked regularly.Before and after treatment and observation refers to the finger-ground distance and occipital wall distance,ESR(Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate),CRP(C-reactive protein),VAS(Visual Analogue Scale),BASDAI(Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Diseases Activity Index),BASFI(Bath Ankylosing Spondylitis Functional Index)and TCM syndrome score.Results: According to the observation and analysis of the statistical results,(1)the total effective rate of TCM syndrome was 93.1% in the experimental group and 80%in the control group.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups:the results showed that both groups had good therapeutic effects and the experimental group was superior to the control group.(2)comparison of the finger-ground distance and occipital wall distance: the results showed that the experimental group and the control group had significant effect on improving the finger-ground distance and occipital wall distance,and the experimental group was superior to the control group.(3)comparison between ESR and CRP: treatment in both groups could improve ESR and CRP,and the effect was more significant in the experimental group.(4)VAS,BASDAI and BASFI in the two groups were significantly lower after treatment than before treatment,and the decrease in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group.(5)during the treatment,there were 2 cases in the experimental group and 6 cases in the control group with gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms such as abdominal distension,abdominal pain and anorexia,and the symptoms disappeared after symptomatic treatment;Three patients in the control group showed abnormal liver function,and ALT(Alanine aminotransferase glutamate pyruvic transaminase)was significantly elevated.After symptomatic drug treatment,liver function returned to normal.Conclusion: The combination of Bushen Qiangdu Huoxue Prescription and western medicine in the treatment of AS(blood stasis obstruction type)can better improve patients’ inflammatory response,improve patients’ functional activities,and relieve pain,stiffness and other symptoms.Bushen Qiangdu Huoxue Prescription has a significant effect on the treatment of AS(blood stasis obstruction type),Combination with conventional western medicine can increase the efficacy of western medicine and reduce the adverse reactions of western medicine.
