"Tiao Du He Wei" Acupuncture Combined With Rehabilitation Training For Stroke Hemiplegia Upper Limb Spasm Of Clinical Observation

OBJECTIVE: Hemiplegic upper limb spasm for cerebral apoplexy patients is a kind of movement dysfunction that is common and serious impact on their ability of daily life,this study which through to observe the clinical effect of "Tiao du he wei" acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training therapy in treating hemiplegia limb upper limb spasm in post-stroke patients,clarify a more effective acupuncture treatment scheme and provide exact evidence for the efficacy of clinical acupuncture in treating upper limb spasm after stroke.Research methods: This study included 90 patients who met the criteria for post-stroke hemiplegia and upper limb spasm from September 2018 to December 2019.They were randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method,namely the treatment group("Tiao du he wei" acupuncture group)and the control group(Conventional acupuncture group),45 cases each.Both groups of patients who had were the onset of 2weeks and stable vital signs were given conventional drugs and rehabilitation training.Based on that,the control group was given conventional acupuncture therapy,and the treatment group was given "Tiao du he wei" acupuncture therapy,what were treated once a day for about 30 min each time.Treatment was continued for 5 days per week with 2 days off for 4 weeks.The modified Ashworth spasm scale(MAS),the upper limb simplified Fugl-Meyer motor function score scale(FMA)and the modified Barthel index assessment scale(MBI)before and after treatment what were used to assess the upper limb spasm degree,motor function and daily life ability of the two groups of patients,and observe the clinical treatment effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy in treating hemiplegia limb upper limb spasm in post-stroke patients.Results: There were no significant differences in gender,age,course of disease,incidence type,and scores of observational indicators before treatment between the two groups(P> 0.05),and they were comparable.By observing and comparing the scores of the observation index scales before and after treatment in the two groups of patients,the degree of upper limb spasm,upper limb motor function,and daily living ability of the two groups of patients what were compared with before treatment,have improved to some extent,and there are statistics significance(P<0.05);MAS,FMA,and MBI scores between the two groups were significantly different after treatment(P<0.05).the treatment group what was compared with the control group had better treatment effect.The total effective rate was 82.22% in the treatment group and 62.22% in the control group.The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion: Both treatments can effectively alleviate the degree of upper limb spasm,improve upper limb motor function and improve daily living ability in stroke hemiplegic patients.And the effect of "Tiao du he wei" acupuncture treating hemiplegia upper limb spasm after stroke is significantly better than conventional acupuncture,that can help speed up the rehabilitation process of stroke patients and improve their daily life.
