| Objective: Primary insomnia is a common clinical disease. Its incidence rate has been on the rise in recent years, and the degree of its youth is increasing. In view of this, this study is based on the theory of "heart brain treatment",using acupuncture method to treat, observe and evaluate its clinical efficacy, and provide a new idea for acupuncture treatment of primary insomnia. Methods:In this study,72 patients with primary insomnia were randomly divided into observation group and control group,36 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with acupuncture guided by the theory of simultaneous treatment of heart and brain, while the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture.Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI),Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Epworth sleeping scale(ESS)were evaluated before treatment,4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment. Objective to compare and observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture guided by the theory of simultaneous treatment of heart and brain on primary insomnia.Results:1.Intra group comparison:(1)the total scores of PSQI,HAMA and FSS of the two groups showed a downward trend.(2)In the observation group, after 4weeks of treatment, except the sleep time had no significant improvement(P >0.05),the other scores were significantly improved(P < 0.01);after 8 weeks of treatment, the scores were significantly improved(P < 0.01).In the control group,PSQI score was significantly improved after 4 weeks of treatment(P <0.05),HAMA total score,FSS total score and PSQI components were not significantly improved after 4 weeks of treatment(P > 0.05);PSQI total score was significantly improved after 8 weeks of treatment(P < 0.01),HAMA total score,FSS total score and PSQI components were significantly improved after4 weeks of treatment(P < 0.05)After 8 weeks of treatment, the total score of three scales, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorder and daytime function were significantly different from those before treatment(P < 0.01),and the sleep quality was significantly improved(P < 0.05).2.Comparison between groups: after 4 weeks of treatment, there was no significant difference in sleep time and sleep disorder between the observation group and the control group(P > 0.05).The improvement of PSQI total score,HAMA total score,FSS total score, sleep quality, sleep time, sleep efficiency and daytime function in PSQI scale in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group(P < 0.01).After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group(P < 0.01).3.Comparison of clinical efficacy after treatment: the total effective rate of the observation group was 91.4%,and that of the control group was 77.1%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Acupuncture guided by the theory of simultaneous treatment of heart and brain has good therapeutic effect on PI,which can effectively improve the severity of insomnia, reduce anxiety and improve daytime function. However, the effect of acupuncture guided by the theory of simultaneous treatment of heart and brain on improving sleep quality, shortening sleep time, improving sleep efficiency, alleviating anxiety and discomfort, and reducing daytime dysfunction was significantly better than that of the conventional acupuncture group.Acupuncture guided by the theory of simultaneous treatment of heart and brain is safe, without side effects and has definite curative effect, which is worthy of clinical promotion. |
