| Objective: To evaluate the safety and effectiveness of Jiawei Yinhuo Decoction in the treatment of senile insomnia caused by kidney-yin depletion objectively through the clinical study.Methods: A total of 70 patients with insomnia who met the inclusion criteria were collected from December 2019 to December 2020,numbered 1-70 in sequence,and divided into observation group and control group randomly,with 35 cases in each group.The observation group was treated with Jiawei Yinhuo Decoction,and the control group was treated with alprazolam orally.Both groups were observed for 8 weeks,including 4 weeks of medication.Follow-up observation was conducted at the 8th week.The improvement of clinical symptoms between the observation group and the control group after treatment and after drug withdrawal was compared and statistically analyzed.Results:(1)The scores of PQI,TCM symptoms and ISI scale at 4 weeks after treatment and 8 weeks after treatment were compared with those before treatment in the two groups,with statistical significance(P < 0.01).(2)Comparison of PSQI efficacy,TCM symptom efficacy and ISI efficacy between the two groups before treatment and the 4th and 8th week of treatment,P <0.05,all of which were statistically significant.(3)At the 4th and 8th week of treatment,there were statistical differences in PSQI and TCM symptom scale scores between the two groups(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Jiawei Yinhuo Decoction has certain curative effect on senile insomnia caused by kidney Yin depletion.It is better than alprazolam alone in improving symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine during medication.It is more advantageous to maintain the curative effect of Jiawei Yinhuo Decoction after drug withdrawal than that of alprazolam alone. |
