Objective: To study the distribution of TCM syndromes and influencing factors of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis accompanied by anxiety and/or depression, and to explore the incidence and correlation between anxiety and depression and chronic atrophic gastritis,so as to provide the basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis accompanied by emotional disorder. Methods: From October 2019 to December 2020,the clinical data of 300 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis were collected, including general information, symptoms and signs, information of four diagnoses of traditional Chinese medicine, gastroscopy report and pathological diagnosis, etc.,and TCM syndrome types were diagnosed and summarized.SAS and SDS evaluation tables were used to evaluate whether patients were accompanied with anxiety and depression.SPSS 22.0 was used for statistical analysis to summarize the incidence of CAG with anxiety and/or depression, the distribution law of TCM syndromes and influencing factors. Results: A total of 300 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis were collected in this study, and 178 cases were in CAG with anxiety and/or depression, accounting for 59.33%.There were 100 cases(33.33%)of CAG with anxiety and107 cases(35.67%)with depression. The average age of CAG patients with anxiety was 56.69 9.75 years, which was lower than that of CAG patients with depression(58.38 9.93 years). Most of the patients with anxiety are employees, and pathological results suggest that patients with intraepithelial neoplasia are prone to anxiety(P<0.05).There were more females than males in CAG patients with depression(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in gender distribution of anxiety. There was no significant difference in the course of disease,Hp infection, gastric mucosa atrophy range, inflammation, atrophy and intestinal pathological degree between CAG patients with anxiety and depression(P>0.05).The higher the work intensity and education level, the more likely CAG patients are to have anxiety and depression(P<0.05).The TCM syndrome types of CAG patients with anxiety are mainly deficiency of both heart and spleen, and the TCM syndrome types of CAG patients with depression are mainly disharmony between liver and stomach. In CAG patients with anxiety and/or depression, there were more women with disharmony between liver and stomach than men,and more men with damp-heat syndrome between spleen and stomach than women(P<0.05).Symptoms of CAG patients with anxiety and/or depression are fullness or pain in the stomach, poor appetite, acid regurgitation and heartburn, sleep disorder, dry mouth and throat or dry cough. The pulse condition of tongue coating is red tongue, white greasy coating and string pulse. Conclusion: Chronic atrophic gastritis patients with anxiety and depression are mainly characterized by disharmony between liver and stomach, which is mainly manifested as fullness or pain in the stomach. The TCM syndrome of CAG patients with anxiety is mainly deficiency of both heart and spleen, while the TCM syndrome of CAG patients with depression is mainly disharmony between liver and stomach.Staff and pathology suggest that intraepithelial neoplasia and CAG patients with deficiency of both heart and spleen may be risk factors for anxiety diseases, while CAG patients with disharmony between liver and stomach may be risk factors for depression diseases.
