Objective: To understand the caregiving burden, social support, care benefit feeling and quality of life of the family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic foot, analyze the correlation between the caregiver burden, social support, care benefit feeling and quality of life, and further explore the diabetic foot Influencing factors of the quality of life of the family caregivers of patients,by changing the perspective of attention, the positive psychology of the main caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic foot can be discovered, and the pressure of care can be relieved, which will improve the quality of life of family caregivers of diabetic foot patients. Methods: Use cross-sectional research in descriptive research. The convenience sampling method was adopted to select the main family caregivers of elderly diabetic foot patients who were hospitalized and outpatients in two tertiary A hospitals and one community hospital in Weihai City,Shandong Province from November 2019 to July2020.A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed A total of 286 valid questionnaires were collected, and the effective rate of the questionnaire was 95.3%.Research tools include general demographic data,Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale(ZBI),Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),Caregiver Benefit Questionnaire, and Concise Health Measurement Scale(SF-12).Data analysis using SPSS26.0 statistical software.Results:(1)Life quality of family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic footThe results of this study showed that the total quality of life of the study subjects was 81.34±12.59 points.Compared with the domestic norms, the total quality of life and physical health scores of the study subjects were low.The quality of life of the research subjects is based on the age group of the patients, the payment method of medical expenses, the gender of the caregiver, the age of the caregiver, the relationship with the patient, education level, family monthly income, average daily care time, whether to live with the patient, and whether to share There are statistically significant differences in care tasks and chronic diseases(P<0.05).(2)The care burden of family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic footThe total score of the subjects’ care burden is 60.04±18.38 points. This study shows that the care burden score of the study subjects is based on the gender of the patient, the age group of the patient, the method of payment of medical expenses, the gender of the caregiver, the age of the caregiver, the education level, the monthly family income, the average daily care time, whether there is a shared care task,There are statistically significant differences in whether there is chronic disease or not(P <0.05).(3)Social support of family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic footThe total score of social support of the research subjects is 44.23±5.87 points. This study shows that the social support scores of the research subjects have statistically significant differences in the gender of the caregiver, the age of the caregiver, education level, family monthly income, average daily care time, sharing of care tasks, and chronic disease(P<0.05).(4)The sense of benefit from care of family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic footThe total score of the study subjects’ sense of benefit from care is 104.1±13.95 points. This study shows that the research subjects’ sense of benefit from care is in terms of the payment method of medical expenses, the gender of the caregiver, the age of the caregiver, education level, monthly family income, average daily care time, whether they share care tasks, and whether they suffer from chronic diseases, etc. The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)Correlation of care burden, social support, sense of benefit from care and quality of life of family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic footThe results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that each dimension of care burden was negatively correlated with quality of life and social support was positively correlated with each dimension of quality of life Care benefits are positively correlated with all dimensions of quality of life care burden is negatively correlated with all dimensions of social support care burden It is negatively correlated with all dimensions of care benefit and social support is positively correlated with all dimensions of care benefit(6)Multiple Linear Regression Analysis on the Quality of Life of Family Caregivers of Elderly Diabetic FootUsing the quality of life of the research object as the dependent variable, the factors that differ in the general population data, the total score of care burden, the total score of social support, and the total score of care benefits, are used for regression analysis. The results show the daily average in the general population data. The length of care, whether you live with the patient, whether you have a chronic disease, the total score of care burden, the total score of social support, and the total score of care benefits jointly explain the 56.5% variation of the dependent variable quality of life score.Conclusions:(1)The quality of life of family caregivers of elderly diabetic foot patients is generally low.(2)Family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic foot have a heavy burden of care, which is a heavy burden;family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic foot have a moderate level of social support;caregivers of patients with diabetic foot have a certain sense of care benefits, and there is room for further improvement in the level of care benefits.(3).Family caregivers of elderly patients with diabetic foot are positively correlated with social support, carers’ benefits and quality of life;care burden is negatively correlated with social support, care benefits, and quality of life.(4)Daily care time, whether to live with the patient, the type of chronic disease the caregiver has,the total score of care burden, the total score of social support, and the total score of care benefit are the influencing factors of the quality of life... |
