Objectives To analysis the influence of information support combinating foot care behavioral intervention on patients with0level diabetic foot in foot care knowledge, foot care behavior and foot conditions; To explore more effective diabetic foot prevention education model. Methods This study was a experimental study.88patients with0level diabetic foot from2top hospitals in one City. Participants were divided into intervention group(n=44)and control group(n=44) according the Random number table. The former received information support and foot care behavioral intervention, while the latter received conventional diabetic education only. After1month of intervention, the foot care knowledge, foot care behavior and foot conditions of both group were checked,to analysis the effectiveness of information support and foot care behavioral intervention.Results1.The baseline of results showed that the average score of diabetic foot care knowledge was10.18±5.85,only11.8%patients attained the60%total score; the average score of diabetic foot behavior was3.80±2.13,also the patients who grasped the60%total score is only11.8%, which lower than the outcome from other research. Multiple stepwise regression indicated that age, family income, education level, profession, nerve conduction Velocity and Double Extremity Doppler were significantly related to the score of foot care knowledge, and age, family income, education level, profession were significantly related to the score of foot care behavior.2. Paired-samples t-test showed that the scores of foot care knowledge, the foot care behavior and the PBS,FBS value in intervention group were significantly improved (P<0.01) before and after intervention, while the scores of foot care knowledge, and the PBS value in intervention group were significantly improved (P<0.01) before and after intervention, the score of foot care behavior, the FBS value were improved but have no statistics significance(P>0.05):Two independent-samples T test and Mann-Whitney U test showed that the scoring margin (post-intervention-pre-intervention) of foot care knowledge and foot care behavior, the value margin (post-intervention-pre-intervention) of FBS and PBS of intervention group is higher than control group, the scoring margin of foot care knowledge and foot care behavior, the value margin of FBS were significant (P<0.01) except the value margin of FBS(P>0.05). Repeated measures analysis of variance showed that the main effects of intervention on foot care knowledge, foot care behavior, value margin of FBS and PBS were significant (P<0.01.The main effects of time on foot care knowledge, foot care behavior, value margin of FBS and PBS were significant (P<0.01).There were significant interactions between time and intervention on above variates (P<0.01)3.Pearson Chi-Square and Kruskal-Wallis Test before and after intervention showed all the items of foot examination in intervention group were improved, the pain level, numbness level and the dry skin condition had statistics significance (P<0.01); Almost all the items of foot examination in control group were improved except interval walk lame, temperature sense and motionless pain, the pain level had statistics significance (P<0.01); Pearson Chi-Square and Kruskal-Wallis Test between intervention group and control group after intervention showed all the items of foot examination improved, the pain level, numbness level, cold feeling level and the dry skin condition were significant (P<0.05)Conclusion:1. patients with0level diabetic foot lacked prevention awareness, foot care knowledge were deficient, foot care behavior is inadequate.2. The information support combinating foot care behavioral intervention can improve the foot care knowledge, foot care behavior and foot conditions of the the patients with0level DF significantly...
