Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the dietary knowledge, dietary self-efficacy,family function, dietary compliance behavior and their differences in general data in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients, and to analyze the correlation between the variables. To explore the influencing factors of dietary compliance behavior in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients,in order to provide scientific basis for improving dietary compliance and delaying the disease development of elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients. Methods: using descriptive research in the cross-sectional study, convenient sampling method, from the selection of a certain level of first-class hospital kidney disease in Grade III A hospital weihai238 elderly over the age of 60 in dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)as investigation object, through the general demographic questionnaire, diet knowledge questionnaire, chronic kidney disease(CKD),dietary self-efficacy scale, family function scale, dietary adherence behavior scale of quantitative assessment.Statistical software SPSS26.0 Chinese version was used to collate and analyze the valid questionnaires.Results:(1)The total score of diet knowledge in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients was(8.42±2.61),which was at a low level. There were significant differences in dietary knowledge scores in age, educational level, occupation before retirement, monthly family income, disease stage, course of disease, annual frequency of visits and self-care ability(P < 0.05).(2)The total score of dietary self-efficacy in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients was(56.25±8.80),which was in the middle level. There were differences in dietary self-efficacy scores in educational level,pre-retirement occupation, disease course, annual frequency of medical treatment and self-care ability, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(3)The total score of family function in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease without dialysis was(135.73±12.33),which was at the general level. There were differences in family function scores in pre-retirement occupation, family per capita monthly income, disease course, annual frequency of medical treatment, and self-care ability, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(4)The total score of dietary compliance in elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients was(72.66±7.54),which was at the middle level. There were differences in dietary compliance scores in age, educational level,pre-retirement occupation, per capita monthly income of family, course of disease, number of visits and self-care ability, with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(5)Pearson correlation analysis results showed that the subjects’ dietary knowledge, dietary self-efficacy,and dietary compliance were positively correlated, while family function was negatively correlated with dietary knowledge, dietary self-efficacy,and dietary compliance.(6)Stepstep regression analysis showed that seven variables, including total score of dietary knowledge, total score of dietary self-efficacy,total score of family function, annual number of visits to doctors,self-care ability, educational level, and course of disease, were included in the regression equation, which together explained 52.7% of the variation of total score of dietary compliance behavior.Conclusion:(1)The elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis patients had a low level of dietary knowledge, moderate level of dietary self-efficacy and dietary compliance, and average level of family function.(2)Generally,the elderly non-dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease who are 60 to 70 years old, college education or above, national public servants, monthly income ≥5000 yuan, disease course of more than 10 years, consultation ≥12 times a year, and no dependence on self-care ability have better dietary compliance behavior.(3)The richer the diet knowledge, the higher the level of dietary self-efficacy,the better the family function, and the better the diet compliance behavior of the elderly patients with chronic kidney disease and non-dialysis.(4)Dietary knowledge, dietary self-efficacy,family function, annual visits,self-care ability, educational level, and course of disease were important influencing factors for dietary compliance behavior of elderly patients with chronic kidney disease without dialysis.
