Clinical Observation Of Huoluo Zhitong Plaster In The Treatment Of Lateral Epicondylitis

Objective: By comparing the curative effect of Huoluo Zhitong plaster and far-infrared plaster in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis,we observed the clinical effect of Huoluo Zhitong plaster,and analyzed and evaluated whether its curative effect was better than farinfrared plaster.Methods: In this study,72 patients were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group(Huoluo Zhitong plaster)and the control group(far-infrared plaster).Ashi,Quchi and shousanli were selected in the two groups,and each point was applied once a day for 6-8hours.7 days for a course of treatment,continuous treatment for two courses,two courses of rest for two days,two weeks after the end of treatment follow-up.The visual analogue pain score(VAS),Mayo Elbow function score(MEPS)and Pain-free Grip(PFG)index were recorded before,after treatment and after follow-up,respectively,to evaluate the clinical effect of lateral epicondylitis.Results:1.The clinical efficacy comparison: the total effective rate of the treatment group was90.6%,the total effective rate of the control group was 85.3%,the difference was statistical y significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of evaluation indexes after treatment: after treatment,VAS,MEPS and PFG of the two groups were improved to a certain extent compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistical y significant(P<0.05);the improvement of score indexes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of evaluation indexes after follow-up: after treatment,VAS,MEPS and PFG of the two groups were improved to a certain extent,with statistical significance(P<0.05);in VAS and PFG,the improvement of the treatment group was better,with statistical significance(P<0.05);while the improvement of MEPS of the treatment group was different from that of the control group There was no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.Huoluo Zhitong plaster is effective in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis.2.The effect of Huoluo Zhitong plaster in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis is better than that of far-infrared plaster,especially in relieving pain,improving elbow joint activity in a short time and improving grip strength.
