Study On Clinical Efficacy Of Huoxue Qiangjin Recipe In The Treatment Of Early Knee Osteoarthritis (Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective: Based on the Chinese herbal theory,this study included patients with early knee osteoarthritis who met the selection criteria for this clinical study.Two methods,Huoxue Qiangjin Prescription and Kanggu Zengsheng Pill,were used for the early treatment of the knee joint.According to a clinical trial system,the effectiveness of Huoxueqiangjin Prescription in knee osteoarthritis was observed to objectively assess the safety,efficacy and generalization potential of Huoxueqiangjin Prescription treatments.Methods:In this study,80 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome)who met the eligibility criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment and control groups.The treatment group was treated with a decoction of Huxu Qiangjin and compared with oral Kanggu Zengsheng Pill.As a course of treatment,we will take two consecutive courses of treatment for two weeks.Observe,record,and analyze pre-and post-treatment data for treatment and control groups in similar external conditions.Results:The two groups are comparable in terms of basic data.After treatment,WOMAC,VAS and ISOA values in both groups improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of Huoxue Qiangjin Prescription was better when compared between the two groups.After two courses of treatment,the WOMAC,VAS and ISOA scores of the two groups improved significantly.Comparing the two groups,the treatment group was superior to the control group when comparing the various scores.The group was effective in the initial improvement of the knee bones.The joint function of arthritis has an important effect.In terms of clinical efficacy,the total efficacy rate in the treatment group was 95.00%.The total effectiveness rate of the control group was 82.50%.In the 3-month post-treatment follow-up,the recurrence rate in the treatment group was 2.63% and in the control group it was 24.24%.Conclusion: Both Huoxueqiangjin Prescription and Kangguzengsheng pills are effective in treating premature knee osteoarthritis(qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome).In two courses of treatment,Huoxueqiangjin oral Prescription has better healing properties than Kangguzengsheng oral tablets.Huoxueqiangjin Prescription can greatly reduce patients’ clinical symptoms and improve their quality of life.Huoxueqiangjin prescription treatment is simple,the effect is significant,the long-term effect is better(3 months),and its acceptance by patients is easy.At the same time,people had no side effects during treatment.Therefore,the experimental version of Huoxueqiangjin is a valuable clinical application and more detailed research.
