| Objective:In this study,Materialism’s Interactive medical Image Control system was used to reconstruct the three-dimensional bone tissue of the head CT tomographic images of male and female of all ages groups in Liaoning province.Mid-and-lower-facial and mandible’s measurements in coronal and sagittal position were measured in this study.The trend of mid-and-lower-facial and mandible’s changing in age were statistically analyzed.Methods:A total of 180 head CT tomographic images of patients who treated in our hospital were randomly selected from the imaging database of the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University according to gender and age.All samples were divided into 6 groups in total by gender and age,including 90 male and female samples.Each gender was divided into three groups,the male youth group,the male middle-aged group,the male elderly group,the female youth group,the female middle-aged group,and the female elderly group.Materialism’s Interactive medical Image Control system was used to perform three-dimensional reconstruction on the collected CT tomographic samples.Coordinate System of the created three-dimensional models were re-marked in the coronal,sagittal,and horizontal positions of the head in person stands normally.Measurements were designed about the mandibular measurements were referenced and the indicators affecting the shape of the mid and lower facial.Maximum width of facial,intercondylar distance,bigonial breadth in sagittal position and ramus length,angle of mandible and other measurements in sagittal position were measured.Datas were analyzed in SPSS software.Results:The measurements between male and female:ratio of maximum width of facial and length of mid and lower facial,length of chin,length of mandible body were no significant difference between both genders.The youth and middle-age female angle of mandible and female included angle of mandible plane were bigger than males,the remaining measurements except male angle of mandible in elderly group were bigger than females,the significant difference measurements were statistical significance between two genders.Angle of mandible in elderly group was no significant difference between both genders.The trend of changing in age between youth and middle-aged:In coronal position,maximum width of facial,bigonial breadth and area of mid and lower facial projection in coronal position increased,and the ratio of maximum width of facial and length of mid and lower facial,length of lower facial,length of mid and lower facial,length of chin were no significant difference between two ages.In sagittal position,angle of mandible and included angle of mandible plane decreased,length of ramus and area of mid and lower facial projection in sagittal position increased.length of mandible body were no significant difference between two ages.The trends were same in both genders.The significant difference measurements were statistical significance between two ages.The trend of changing in age between middle-aged and elderly:In coronal position,bigonial breadth and intercondylar distance were no significant difference between two ages,maximum width of facial and the ratio of maximum width of facial and length of mid and lower facial increased,length of mid and lower facial and area of mid and lower facial projection in coronal position,length of lower facial and length of chin decreased.In sagittal position,length of mandible body and area of mid and lower facial projection in sagittal position decreased,included angle of mandible plane were no significant difference between two ages.The trends were same in both genders.The female angle of mandible was no significant difference and male angle of mandible increased.The significant difference measurements were statistical significance between two ages.The trend of changing in age between youth and elderly:In coronal position,maximum width of facial,bigonial breadth,intercondylar distance and the ratio of maximum width of facial and length of mid and lower facial increased,length of mid and lower facial,length of lower facial,length of chin decreased,area of mid and lower facial projection in coronal position were no significant difference between two ages.In sagittal position length of mandible body and included angle of mandible plane decreased.The trends were same in both genders.The male angle of mandible was no significant difference between two ages and female angle of mandible decreased.The significant difference measurements were statistical significance between two ages.Conclusion:In same age,length and width of male mandible and mid and lower facial are bigger than females.The trend of changing in age between youth and middle-age:width of mandible and mid and lower facial,area of mid and lower facial projection in coronal and sagittal position and length of ramus increase,angle of mandible and included angle of mandible plane decrease in both genders.The trend of changing in age between middle-age and elderly:Maximum width of facial and the ratio of maximum width of facial and length of mid and lower facial increase,length of mid and lower facial,area of mid and lower facial projection in coronal and sagittal position and length of ramus decrease in both genders.Male angle of mandible increase.The trend of changing in age between youth and elderly:width of mandible and mid and lower facial,the ratio of maximum width of facial and length of mid and lower facial increase,length of mid and lower facial and length of ramus decrease in both genders.Female angle of mandible increase. |
