Objective : Based on CT scanning images,the structure of zygomatic bone was reconstructed by three-dimensional reconstruction technique,and several characteristics of zygomatic bone aging in Dalian Han population were analyzed by software Materialise Mimics(Materialise's Interactive Medical Image Control System).We try to find some regularity of zygomatic aging,provide reference for preoperative evaluation and selection of surgical methods of facial rejuvenation surgery,and try to sum up the characteristics of zygomatic aging.Methods:The CT scans of the skulls of 240 adult patients of Han nationality with normal skull development in the outpatient department and ward of the First Affiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University were taken as study samples.According to age and gender,the patients were divided into six groups: young men group,young women group,middle-aged men group,middle-aged women group,old men group and old women group.There are 40 people in each group.Using Materialise Mimics,a three-dimensional reconstruction model of zygomatic bone was established on the basis of original CT scanning images,and the width,height,protrusion of zygomatic bone in different directions and thickness of zygomatic bone of each patient were quantitatively measured according to the measurement indexes of domestic and foreign scholars in this field.Finally,SPSS26.0 software was used to analyze the data.Results:According to the above measurement data of normal adults randomlyselected in this experiment,it can be concluded that the average measurement values of each group of measurement indexes of male subjects in different age groups are bigger than female subjects.Except for a few indexes such as upper face height,there is no statistical significance,the rest of the measurement results have statistical significance.For male subjects,it was found that maximum face width,middle face width,fore face width and upper face height of male subjects increased with age,but only the comparison of young group and old group,young group and middle-aged group was statistically significant.Minimum width of frontal bone showed a trend of increasing gradually from the average,but there was no statistical significance between the groups.In the aspect of the degree of zygomatic protrusion,degree of zygomatic arch protruding laterally,degree of zygomatic body protruding laterally and degree of zygomatic body protruding forward showed a trend of increasing gradually in the mean value,but there was no significant difference between the other groups except for the comparison between the young and old age group of degree of zygomatic arch protruding laterally.From the aspect of zygomatic thickness,the average value of zygomatic arch thickness and zygomatic body thickness increased gradually,but there was no statistical significance between the three groups.For female subjects,similar to the male subjects,it was found that maximum face width,middle face width,fore face width and upper face height of female subjects increased with age,but only the comparison of young group and old group,young group and middle-aged group was statistically significant.In the aspect of the degree of zygomatic protrusion,degree of zygomatic arch protruding laterally,degree of zygomatic body protruding laterally and degree of zygomatic body protruding forward showed a trend of increasing gradually in the mean value,but there was no significant difference between the other groups except for the comparison between the young and old age group of the degree of zygomatic body protruding laterally.In the measurement of zygomatic thickness,the average value of the thickness of zygomatic arch gradually increased,but there was no statistical significance between the groups.The averagethickness of zygomatic body decreased first and then increased,but there was no statistical significance between the three groups.Conclusion:The zygomatic structure of the Han nationality in Liaoning Province is changing with the increase of age.Maximum face width,middle face width,fore face width and upper face height are increasing with the increase of age,while minimum width of frontal bone is not.The three protrusion indexes and thickness indexes of zygomatic bone have no obvious change trend in the process of aging.
