Objective:In this study,we compared the actual implant position obtained by CBCT and digital impression technology with the preoperative virtual planning implant position, analyzed the accuracy of digital guide template, and discussed the feasibility of using digital impression technology to verify the accuracy of digital template,so as to provide scientific evidence for further promoting the use of this method.Materials and Methods:We selected 103 implants in 50 patients who received implant therapy with digital guide template and restored with digital impression technology from January 2016 to January 2021 in Yantai stomatological hospital. The preoperative planning data, postoperative CBCT data and prerestorive digital impression with scan body data were collected and converted into STL format. They are imported into reverse engineering software Geomagic Design X software, the positions of the preoperative virtual planning and the actual implant after operation and the implant shoulder platform, the center point of the implant shoulder and apex, and the long axis of the implant are defined by the software. The three-dimensional(3D)errors of shoulder, apex, angle and depth were measured by the measurement function of the software.Analyze whether different jaw position, bone density of edentulous area, edentulous position and number of missing teeth will affect the accuracy of guide plate, and compare the accuracy results obtained by postoperative CBCT and postoperative digital impression, and observe whether there is statistical difference between them. The data was analysed by SPSS 26.0 software. The data in each group were expressed as mean±standard error((?)±S).Wilcoxon rank sum test of two independent samples was used to compare the measured values of each group.P < 0.05 indicated that there was statistical difference.Result:A total of 50 patients with dentition defect were included in this study, and 103 implants were implanted. There were 24 males and 26 females with an average age of47 years. In CBCT group, the neck error was 1.00 mm ± 0.06 mm,the apical error was1.40 mm ± 0.07 mm,the angle error was 5.05 °± 0.30 ° and the depth error was 0.70 mm ± 0.07 mm;in digital impression group, the neck error was 1.03 mm ± 0.07 mm,the apical error was 1.44 mm ± 0.07 mm,the angle error was 5.02 °± 0.31 ° and the depth error was 0.76 mm ± 0.07 mm There was no significant difference in neck, apex, angle and depth error between the two groups(P > 0.05).In CBCT group, there were significant differences in neck and depth errors of upper and lower guide plates(P <0.05),but no significant differences in apical and angle errors(P > 0.05),In the digital impression group, the neck and depth errors of the upper and lower guide plates were significantly different(P < 0.05),but no significant differences in apical and angle errors(P > 0.05),There was no significant difference in the accuracy of guide plate between patients with high BMD and patients with low BMD(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference in the accuracy of guide plate between patients with free end edentulous and patients with non free end edentulous(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference in the accuracy of guide plate between anterior and posterior teeth(P > 0.05);there was no significant difference in the accuracy of guide plate between single edentulous space and multiple edentulous space(P > 0.05).However,there was no significant difference in accuracy between CBCT group and digital impression group(P > 0.05).Conclusion;1.In this study, jaw is the factor that affects the accuracy of the template, bone density, edentulous site, edentulous space do not affect the accuracy of the template.2.In this study,it is a feasible method to verify the accuracy of the guide plate by using digital impression technology.
