| Objective:To investigate the changes of serum anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)and serum inhibin B(INH-B)in children with cryptorchidism, and to evaluate the significance of the two hormone levels on testicular function evaluation and Timing of surgery in cryptorchidism patients. Methods: Serum inhibin B and anti-Müllerian hormone levels were measured in 100 children with cryptorchidism from January 2019 to January 2020,Among them,59 children with unilateral cryptorchidism(21 right cryptorchidism),Left cryptorchidism(38 cases),Bilateral cryptorchidism in 41 children. In addition,100 normal male children were randomly selected as control group.Serum AMH and INH-B and related germ cell development parameters were measured at preoperative and 6 months after operation. The differences of serum levels between groups and before and after operation were analyzed and compared. Results: There was no significant difference in age,BMI value and sex hormone level between cryptorchidism group and control group.External genital related parameters were measured before operation in cryptorchidism group and control group. There was no significant difference between cryptorchidism group and control group except the volume of testis.Serum INH-B and AMH values of unilateral cryptorchidism and bilateral cryptorchidism,Unilateral group(71.36±6.82)pg/ml vs bilateral group(62.13±7.13)pg/ml,unilateral(115.44±8.91)ng/ml vs bilateral(97.32±9.13)groups The data of two indexes in unilateral group were significantly higher than those in bilateral group.Comparison of preoperative serum INH-B、AMH levels in cryptorchidism and control groups,There was no significant difference between the children of cryptorchidism and the control group,Serum levels of two hormones in children over 2 years of age were lower than those in control group.Compared with the serum levels of INH-B、AMH before operation and 6 months after operation, the serum levels of two hormones in children with cryptorchidism under 4 years old were higher than those before operation. Conclusion:The serum AMH and INH-B levels in cryptorchidism children are lower than those in normal children. The longer the operation time of cryptorchidism, the more difficult the recovery of testicular function, some even can not restore testicular support cell function. The levels of serum anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH)and serum inhibin B(INH-B)can be used as reliable indicators to evaluate testicular function in cryptorchidism patients and to evaluate the recovery of testicular function after testicular fixation. |
