The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)called for "a more substantial, secure and sustainable sense of people’s satisfaction, happiness and security" so as to enhance residents’ sense of security not only to maintain social harmony and stability,it is also conducive to accelerating the pace of realizing the great Chinese dream,so it is of practical significance to study the influencing factors of residents’ sense of security.People often face a lot of uncertain risks in society, and the appearance of social insurance can make people deal with these risks at a lower cost, thus affecting the residents’ sense of security. The impact of social insurance on the sense of security of different groups may vary, taking into account the different risk-taking capacities of groups with different health conditions.Understanding the policy sensitivity of different groups can more accurately put social resources, effectively enhance people’s sense of security. In order to study how social insurance affects residents’ sense of security, and to examine the difference of this effect among different health groups, this paper uses the data of China Labor Force Dynamic Survey(CLDS)in 2016 from the perspective of micro-individuals,this paper constructs the factors to measure the residents’ sense of security, and describes the residents’ sense of security in different situations from the aspects of health, age, urban and rural areas, and different income levels,on this basis, this paper uses multiple regression to explore whether there is health heterogeneity in the impact of social insurance on residents’ sense of security, the heterogeneity of the effect is analyzed in terms of age, household registration and income.Furthermore, the robustness of the results is further verified by the propensity score matching method Finally, from the perspective of the level of medical security, whether the proportion of medical reimbursement has an impact on the sense of security of residents,so that the conclusions of the study serve the formulation and implementation of China’s relevant public policies, and comprehensively improve the sense of security of residents. This paper finds:(1)on the whole, medical insurance,old-age Insurance, industrial injury insurance, unemployment insurance, these four types of insurance have a significant role in enhancing the sense of security. The impact of these four types of insurance from large to small health insurance,old-age insurance, unemployment insurance, industrial injury insurance.(2)the effect of various kinds of insurance on residents’ sense of security is heterogeneous in health. The promotion effect of Medical Insurance and old-age insurance on residents’ sense of security is most obvious in the groups with poor health, and it is most obvious in the groups with general and good health, this promotion is weak. The work injury insurance only has the influence to the health status group’s sense of security, the unemployment insurance has the positive influence to the health status and the general group. The results show that groups with poor health are more sensitive to social security policies.(3)the influence of social insurance on the sense of security is different in different age groups, different household registration and different income levels. The effect of social insurance on the sense of security is not significant in the youth group, but is relatively obvious in the middle-aged group and the old group.Social Insurance has a stronger effect on the security of non-peasant household than other household. After dividing the income level, the social insurance has the biggest influence on the group security of the high-income group.(4)the level of medical reimbursement has a positive effect on residents’ sense of security, and it is significant at the level of 10%.Based on the above conclusions, this paper argues that we should focus on the improvement of industrial injury insurance and unemployment insurance, which can not comprehensively enhance workers’ sense of security, some social resources will be appropriately tilted to the health of groups, give full play to the role of social insurance protection.
