| Objective:To know the main causes of death and mortality characteristics of Luohe residents from 2014 to 2018,to identify the main diseases that affect the health of residents,and to evaluate the health of residents;to analyze the life expectancy of Luohe population and the difference between it and the developed countries in my country and the world,and to provide scientific basis for the government to formulate reasonable population health strategies,nutrition intervention priorities and directionsMethods:The all cause death data and population characteristics from 2014 to 2018 in Luohe city came from the National All Cause Death databank The data were approved and classified according to the International Classification of Diseases（ICD-10）death cause classification standards.The Microsoft Excel and SPSS statistical software are used to manage the dataset.The death indicators include total mortality,age-specific（sex）mortality,infant mortality,cause of death,death cause-specific mortality,etc.,are statistically analyzed,Thelife expectancy and Life expectancy due to cause of death are calculated by the simplified current life table method..The Chi-square test is used to compare the difference of the mortality among different groups The test level isα=0.05.Results:The reported mortality rate of residents in Luohe City from 2014 to 2018,were542.435×10-5,581.740×10-5,618.485×10-5,625.540×10-5and619.062×10-5 respectively.The annual mortality rate showed a trend of increasing year by year,with an average mortality rate of 596.121 per 100,000.The standardized mortality rate is 564.458 per100,000.The average death rate of men was significantly higher than that of women（χ2=1229.438,P<0.05）.The mortality rate varies among different counties,Wuyang County has the highest(699.397×10-5),and the others in descending order are Shaoling District(640.738×10-5),Yuanhui District(593.747×10-5),and Linying County(537.178×10-5)and Yancheng District(535.274×10-5).The top 5 death causes of residents in Luohe City are cerebrovascular disease,heart disease,malignant tumor,respiratory disease and injury,and poisoning in order.The0-year-old group has a higher mortality rate and then begins to decline.It is the lowest level between 1-19 years old.The mortality rate increases with age after the age of 20,and increases rapidly after the age of 55.There are different death causes in different age groups.Infant deaths are mainly caused by perinatal conditions and congenital diseases.,main death causes are injuries and poisoning In adolescents（1-14 years old）..The main death causes are cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases,injuries and poisoning in 15-44 years old population and The cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and tumors are the main causes over 45years oldThe average life expectancy of residents in Luohe City is 79.697 years old,men are77.017 years old,and women are 82.701 years old.The average life expectancy of men is 5.684 years less than that of women.Elimination of cerebrovascular disease,heart disease,malignant tumor,respiratory system disease,injury and poisoning can increase the average life expectancy of 4.854,4.420,2.948,0.802,and 0.931years old respectively.After removing the death causes from cerebrovascular disease and heart disease,women’s life expectancy increased higher than men’s,while men’s life expectancy after elimination of malignant tumors increased higher than women.Conclusions:1.The overall mortality rate of residents in Luohe City is at a low level.2.The main diseases that seriously affect the physical and mental health of residents in Luohe City are Cerebrovascular diseases,heart disease,malignant tumors,respiratory diseases,injuries and poisoning.3.The death rate is different in different counties,Wuyang County has the highest and Yancheng District has the lowest.4.The average life expectancy of the residents in Luohe City is higher than that of our country;the life expectancy of men is lower than that of women. |
