Clinical Study On Treatment Of Varicocele With Oligoasthenospermia By Shugan Huoxue Method

Objective:This subject believes that liver depression and blood stasis are the key pathogenesis of varicocele and oligoasthenospermia,and proposes the methods of soothing liver and promoting qi circulation,promoting blood circulation and dredging collaterals and observes its clinical efficacy.Method:In this study,60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30).The treatment group was treated with oral soothe the liver and activate blood Decoction,decocted with water,and given 2 doses per day.The control group was treated with oral levocarnitine(10ml/time,three times a day,taken with meals)and maizhiling tablets(2 tablets/time,twice a day,taken after meals).After three months of treatment,follow-up visits were made during the period to observe the clinical curative effect and whether the spouse is pregnant or not.Routine semen examination was conducted before and after the treatment.The sperm density and motility were mainly observed,the data were recorded,and statistical analysis was made.Result:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%,and that of the control group was 82.76%.statistical analysis showed that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).in semen parameters(sperm density and motility),the two groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the treatment effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.The pregnancy rate of the treatment group is also better than that of the control group.At the same time,There were four significant differences in the improvement rate of clinical symptoms between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:Soothe the liver and activate blood decoction has better curative effect on varicocele with liver depression and blood stasis and oligoasthenospermia.It can improve the sperm density and motility of patients,and obviously improve the TCM symptoms of patients,with fewer adverse reactions and high safety.
