Clinical Observation On Du Moxibustion Combined With Medicinal Cupping In Cold-dampness Obstruction Type Of Ankylosing Spondylitis

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of using Du Moxibustion combined with Medicinal cupping to treat the Cold-dampness obstruction type of AS.To explore the better clinical treatment plan for AS.Methods: 60 patients with Cold-dampness obstruction type of Ankylosing spondylitis were divided into two groups:30 cases in the observation group and 30 cases in the control group.Observation group was given Du Moxibustion combined with Medicinal cupping treatment,control group was given Du Moxibustion treatment.Some statistics about symptoms,signs and laboratory indicators(ESR、CRP)of the patients were recorded before treatment,after a course of treatment,and comprehensively compared the effect of two methods on Cold-dampness obstruction type of AS.Results: 1.Symptoms、signs and laboratory indicators showed statistical significance in both groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).2.Some symptoms(Lumbosacral pain,Spinal pain,Limb pain,Limb chills,Limb weight)and one sign("4" test)in observation group were better than those in control group(P<0.05)),and there were no statistical significance in other symptoms、signs and laboratory indicators between two groups(P>0.05).3.In total efficiency of TCM syndromes and in clinically effective rate,there were no statistical significance between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: Du Moxibustion combined with Medicinal cupping can effectively treat Cold-dampness obstruction type of AS.However,compared with the simple Moxibustion treatment does not have any advantage,only in the improvement of individual symptoms better than control group.
