Research On The Management Of Volunteer Organizations In Public Hospitals

Volunteer organizations are an important carrier for gathering social resources,delivering social care,and promoting social justice.Volunteer service plays an indispensable role in any civilized society.Volunteer organizations in public hospitals are self-administered groups outside the hospital system.Volunteers have played an important role in maintaining the order of patients and strengthening the relationship between doctors and patients by providing volunteer services for patients and their families.In the process of the vigorous development of volunteer organizations,the government’s management of public hospital volunteer organizations still faces some difficulties and many problems have emerged.This article takes the "Happy Bank" volunteer organization of Guangdong L Hospital as an example,uses the literature research method,case study method and questionnaire survey method to analyze the management situation and satisfaction of the "Happy Bank" volunteer organization of Guangdong L Hospital.According to the research results,The following problems were found in the government’s management of volunteer organizations in public hospitals: the relevant laws and regulations of the volunteer organization are not sound enough,the relevant policies of the volunteer organization are not supported enough,the team cohesion among the members of the volunteer organization is not enough,and the basic professional skills of the volunteer team Relatively inadequate,asymmetric information between volunteers and organizations’ supply and demand,and insufficient capacity to respond to public health emergencies.In order to improve the government’s management of volunteer organizations in public hospitals,this article puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: improve the relevant laws and regulations of volunteer organizations,increase the support of volunteer organization policies,cultivate the core values of volunteer organizations,and strengthen volunteer professional skills Training,expanding the publicity of volunteer services,and improving the ability to respond to public health emergencies.
