ObjectiveThe theory that appreciation of paintings can affect emotions has long been recorded in ancient and modern Chinese and foreign books, but there are few empirical studies on appreciation of paintings at home and abroad, especially those taking traditional Chinese Paintings as experimental materials. This study by observing the different tone and the theme of the Painting to induce the viewer subjective mood score and breathing, skin conductance, heart rate, blood volume Pulse frequency of Physiological change, explore its regularity is difference, exploring different tone and the theme of the painting to the viewer autonomic nerve Physiological effects of actual effect, for the rich native art Psychology and Provide a scientific basis for Chinese Painting treatment.Methods(1)Literature research:computer retrieval VIP full-text database(VIP),China journal full-text database(CNKI)databases, wan fang zhong-hua medical association journal database,PubMed foreign database(1991-2018),Medline(2000-2017),foreign language database, database and related official website, such as using "art therapy","Painting treatment","Painting aesthetic treatment","aesthetic experience","Painting",such as keywords to search, collect the Psychological effects of art therapy is associated with Painting research literature.Through the literature search and the evidence-based analysis of the literature, the author understood the status quo of the Psychological effect of Painting appreciation at home and abroad.(2)Experimental research method:according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 126 college students were recruited from two universities in Guangzhou university town as experimental subjects. The experimental design was conducted in the subjects, the experimental Program was designed by EPrime software and the stimuli were presented.(3)Statistical analysis method:collect the score data of Physiological indicators and subjective emotion evaluation table during the experiment, establish a database with SPSS25.0 software, and Process the data with descriptive statistics, independent sample t test,two-factor analysis of variance and other statistical methods.Results(1)The blue-tone landscape Chinese painting made the subjects feel happy and relaxed, the skin electrical level decreased, the heart rate decreased, and the respiratory rate decreased(P<0.05).(2)The red-tone landscape Chinese painting mainly surprised the subjects. The skin electrical level increased, the heart rate increased, and the respiratory rate increased(P<0.05).(3)The yellow-toned landscape Chinese painting made the subjects feel calm and happy, and their breathing frequency decreased(P<0.05).(4)The white tone landscape painting made the subjects feel quiet and sad,but did not cause significant changes in physiological indicators(P>0.05).(5)The black-toned landscape Chinese painting made the subjects feel sad and frightened, their heart rate accelerated, and their breathing rate increased(P<0.05).(6)The gender of men and women is negatively correlated with the change of heart rate for viewing traditional Chinese paintings.Female subjects’heart rate change for viewing traditional Chinese paintings in green, red and white tones is smaller than that of males(P<0.05).(7)When viewing landscape-themed paintings, both Chinese ink paintings and oil paintings can induce the subject’s skin electrical level to decrease, heart rate slows down, respiratory rate decreases, blood volume pulse changes increase, and subjects feel significantly calm and relaxed(P<0.05).(8)When viewing plant-themed paintings,Chinese ink paintings can induce a decrease in skin electrical level, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood volume pulse changes(P<0.05);oil painting can induce a decrease in skin electrical level, heart rate Decreased, respiratory rate decreased, blood volume pulse change value increased(P<0.05).(9)When viewing animal-themed paintings,Chinese ink painting can induce the skin electrical level of the subject to increase, the heart rate accelerates, and the respiratory rate increases(P<0.05);oil painting can induce the skin electrical level of the subject to increase, the heart rate increases, and the respiratory rate increases,Blood volume pulse changes increased(P<0.05).(10)When viewing character-themed paintings,Chinese ink painting can induce the skin electrical level of the subject to increase, the heart rate increases, the respiratory rate becomes faster, and the blood volume pulse changes increase(P<0.05);oil painting can induce the skin electrical level of the subject to increase,The heart rate is accelerated, the respiratory rate is accelerated, and the blood volume pulse change becomes larger(P<0.05).(11)There is no significant difference in the changes of the physiological indexes of the subjects induced by oil paintings with different themes and Chinese ink painting(P>0.05).Conclusion(1)Comprehensive experiment 1 found that paintings of different tones can induce different physiological and psychological responses of subjects:that is,paintings in blue tones can cause parasympathetic excitement and feel pleasure and relaxation;paintings in red tones can cause sympathetic nerve Excited and surprised;paintings in yellow tones mainly induce calmness and happiness in subjects;paintings in white tones mainly induce tranquility and sadness in subjects;paintings in black tones can cause sympathetic excitement and feel sadness and fear in subjects. The experimental results suggest that TCM’s five-color theory of different hue has different perceptual stimulating effects on humans and can trigger different psychosomatic reactions is reasonable, which provides experimental evidence for the establishment of Chinese art therapy based on the five-color theory of Chinese medicine.(2)Comprehensive experiment 2 found that paintings with different themes can induce different physiological and psychological responses:viewing landscape paintings can cause parasympathetic excitement and reduce sympathetic excitement;viewing plant-themed paintings can cause parasympathy.Nerve excitement;viewing animal-themed paintings can cause sympathetic nerve excitement;viewing character-themed paintings can cause sympathetic nerve excitement;viewing two types of paintings with different themes, oil painting and Chinese painting, has no significant changes in the physiological indicators that induce the subjects difference. The experimental results suggest that the theory of traditional Chinese landscape painting on viewing appreciators and viewers, and the dynamics of visitors are quite scientific, and provide experimental evidence for the establishment of Chinese painting art therapy based on Chinese landscape theory.
