| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of the treatment by using acupuncture of stasis removing sticking combined with prescription for stroke-associated pneumonia patients.Methods72 patients with acute ischemic cerebral infarction who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a group of acupuncture combined with stasis removing sticking acupuncture plus prescription(hereinafter referred to as the treatment group)and a conventional antibiotic treatment group(hereinafter referred to as the control group),36 cases in each group.The treatment group selected acupuncture acupoints on the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment in the control group:the bilateral acupoints of Hegu acupoints,Taibai acupoints,Sanyinjiao acupoints,Zusanli acupoints,Taixi acupoints,Quchi acupoints,Xuehai acupoints,Yinlingquan acupoints,Taichong acupoints,Fenglong acupoints,to treat the stroke-associated pneumonia patient’s.Acupuncture therapy required retaining needles for 30 minutes after applying reinforcing and reducing manipulation to get Qi.Other acupuncture acupoints can be added with different symptoms:Tianshu acupoints and Zhigou acupoints for constipation,Tiantu acupoints and Lianquan acupoints for ysphagia,palpitations,Shenmen acupoints and Neiguan acupoints for heart palpitations,Zhongwan acupoints and Gongsun acupoints for stomachache.Stasis removing sticking prescription:Taoren,Salvia,Chuanxiong,Angelica,Pinellia,Tangerine,Magnolia,Atractylode s,Bitter Almond,Anemarrhena,Radix Scutellariae,Radix,Astragali,Bell-flower,Radix Licorice。Other herbs can be added with different symptoms:those who are afraid of the cold and wind are added with codonopsis and wind protection,those with yang deficiency and cold are added with cinnamon and eucommia,those who are insomnia are added with fushen and sour dates.Each time with 150ml traditional Chinese medicine potion,warm water twice a day,on the morning and evening.The clinical treatment lasted for 2 weeks.Before and after treatment,the patients were evaluated for white blood cell count,C-reactive protein(CRP),and the National Institutes of Health’ s neurological deficit score(NIHSS):Finally,the curative effect was evaluated based on the total score of clinical symptoms after treatment.Results1.After treatment,the white blood cell count,CRP,NIHSS scores of the treatment group and the control group were significantly decreased(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.After treatment,the treatment group compared with the control group had a greater score reduction rate(P<0.01)in the total score of clinical symptoms(including cough,sputum,fever,lung auscultation content).Compar-ing with the control group’s total effective rate(60.6%),the treatment group’ s total clinical efficacy rate(90.9%)was a significant difference,with statistical significance(P<0.01).3.On the basis of conventional Western medicine treatment,the clinical effect of adding stasis removing sticking acupuncture combined with stasis removing sticking prescription to treat stroke-related pneumonia is better.ConclusionThe combination of stasis removing sticking acupuncture and stasis removing sticking prescription has good clinical effects on stroke-associated pneumonia.Combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine is more effective than simple western medicine.After treatment with acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine,not only can reduce the series of inflammatory response substances(white blood cell count,CRP)indicators of stroke-related pneumonia patients,but also improved the patients’ neurological deficits and promote the accelerated recovery of patients.In terms of subjective indicators such as the number of coughs,sputum output,fever,and auscultation of the lungs,the clinical effective rate of the acupuncture combined treatment group has a more significant advantage,which can significantly improve the clinical cure rate of stroke-related pneumonia patients. |
