Purpose: The main role of thyroid hormone is to promote the body’s metabolism and maintain the body’s normal growth and development.Through the measurement of serum thyroid hormone levels in the longevity elderly in the longevity area and the elderly in the physical examination in Nanning,the differences were compared with each other.To explore the level of thyroid hormones in long-lived elderly in Bama longevity area and its effect on longevity.Objects and methods: According to the WTO’s definition of old age in 1982,the old people over 90 years old in the longevity area of Bama were selected as the experimental group,and the old people in Nanning area matched by gender and age were selected as the control group.All subjects collected demographic data and questionnaires to investigate their psychological,social adaptability and living habits.Serum free triiodothyronine(FT3),free Thyroxine(FT4),thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH),total cholesterol(TCH),glycerin Triglycerides(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),creatine kinase(CK),muscle Acid kinase isoenzyme(CK-MB)and other biochemicalindicators.Pearson correlation analysis of the correlation between thyroid hormone levels and psychological,social adaptability,living habits,and biochemical indicators such as TCH,TG,LDL of Bama longevity elderly.Results: In the comparison of general clinical data,the detection rate of FT3,TSH,TCH,TG,LDL-C,hypertension,detection rate of cardiovascular diseas e,and detection rate of cerebrovascular disease in the long-lived elderly group w ere lower than that of the control group,with statistics The difference(P<0.05),FT4,HDL-C,CK,CK-MB had no statistical difference(P>0.05).In the compari son of psychological factors,there are differences between satisfaction,fear and two groups(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference between other items(P>0.05).In the comparison of life and eating habits,there are differences in the n umber of daily consumption of corn and vegetables,whether they are still worki ng,and the number of weekly participation in group activities(P<0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that FT3 values were positively correlated with TC H,TG,LDL,and fear,and negatively correlated with corn as the main food and still working.Conclusion: 1.The FT3,TSH,TCH,TG and LDL-C of the long-lived elder ly in Bama were lower than those of the elderly control group.The level of seru mFT3 was positively correlated with TC,TG,LDL-C,and fear,and negatively correlated with corn as the main food and still working.2.The detection rate of h ypertension,diabetes,cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in the long-li ved elderly in Bama is low.3.The long-lived elderly have a higher sense of satisf action and low fear.The longevity group has corn and beans as the staple food a nd vegetable oil as the main food.They often work or exercise and participate in group activities.4.In summary,blood lipids,psychological factors and lifestyle habits may be inv olved in the changes of thyroid hormone levels in the long-lived Bama elderly.
