| With the deepening of the aging of the population in China,the average life expectancy of the citizens has been significantly improved,and the empty nest of the elderly has become more and more serious.The mental health of the elderly living alone in urban areas has gradually become the focus of academic attention.In this study,12 families of elderly living alone in Z community of Beijing were taken as the research object,mainly to study the impact of living physical environment on the mental health of elderly living alone in urban areas.Qualitative research was adopted in this study,and data were collected and analyzed through in-depth interviews with the elderly living alone in urban areas.The study found that the elderly living alone generally poor living conditions and poor mental state;The living environment needs to be renovated for aging;Indoor and outdoor living environment affects their emotional state when they interact with people.According to the human-context interaction theory,mental health also affects the living physical environment of the elderly living alone,including the positive or negative emotions of the elderly living alone,which will reflect the living physical environment in all aspects of life and have a certain impact.On this basis,improvement measures can be proposed from the following three aspects: First,in terms of living environment,the government and communities should strengthen and improve the indoor and outdoor living environment of the elderly living alone;Secondly,in terms of mental health,the construction of social support network for the spiritual comfort of the elderly living alone should be strengthened.Finally,social workers take active responsibility for aging reconstruction.Through the above three measures to reduce the generation of negative emotions,improve their social adaptability and subjective well-being. |
