| Objective:Observing the curative effect and adverse reaction of Modified Banxia Houpu decoction in the treatment of COPD with anxiety and depression patients.Finding a new method to treat the disease and realizing individual treatment. Methods:We selected 70 patients with stable COPD who met the inclusion criteria.Patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group by random number table. The control group given oral paroxetine, dose of 20 to 50 mg,1 times a day.The research group took Banxia Houpu decoction as the basic prescription on the basis of western medicine treatment,Added or subtracted traditional chinese medicine with symptoms,1 dose a day,and took it once in the morning another in the evening. Both groups were given basic treatment of western medicine in the course of treatment.CAT score,mMRC score,TCM syndrome score,fev1%predicted value and FEV1/FVC were being observed after 2 month of treatment.HAMA and HAMD scales were used to observe the improvement of anxiety and depression of patients. And TESS scale was used to observe the adverse reactions after medication.Evaluate the efficacy and safety of the two regimens for the treatment of the disease. Results:CAT score,mMRC score,TCM syndrome score, anxiety or depression of the patients in both groups were decreased after treatment. But the predicted value of FEV1%and FEV1/FVC showed no significant improvement after treatment. There was no significant difference between the two groups in improving mMRC score and lung function. The efficacy of other observation indexes in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and there were fewer adverse reactions in the treatment group,TESS score was lower than that in the control group. Conclusion:The addition of Banxia Houpu decoction can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with COPD complicated with anxiety and depression, and improve the quality of life, with fewer adverse reactions. This indicates that Banxia Houpu decoction has certain curative effect and high safety in the treatment of this disease. |
