Clinical Study On The Effect Of Shufeng Jiedu Capsule On Symptom Score And Inflammatory Markers Of AECOPD Complicated With Cor Pulmonale

Objectives:To observe the clinical efficacy of Shufeng Jiedu Capsule in the treatment of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD)combined with cor pulmonale(cor pulmonale),and to carry out its cost-effectiveness.Provide a clinical basis for individualized treatment of AECOPD patients combined with cor pulmonale.Methods:In this study,80 patients with AECOPD combined with cor pulmonale who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the test group and the control group.The two groups of basic treatment program according to the condition needs to choose conventional treatment of western medicine.The test group was treated with shufeng jiedu capsule,while the control group was treated with western medicine only.The course of treatment was 14 days in both groups.Inflammatory index,cardiac function index,symptom score,6-minute walking distance,treatment cost and hospitalization time were recorded truthfully and analyzed before and after treatment,and acute exacerbation times were followed up within 12 weeks.Results :(1)Blood inflammatory index: The percentage of neutrophils,C-reactive protein and procalcitonin were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the test group was lower than the control group(P <0.05).(2)Cardiac function index:The brain natriuretic peptide,pulmonary systolic pressure and ejection fraction were improved after treatment,and the test group was better in improving brain natriuretic peptide(P<0.05).There were no significant differences between the two groups inimproving pulmonary systolic pressure and ejection fraction(P>0.05).(3)Clinical symptoms: The total effective rate of the experimental group(94.74%)was better than that of the control group(76.32%),P<0.05.The TCM syndrome scores,physical scores,6-minute walking distance and CAT scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment,and the test group was better in the improvement degree(P<0.05).(4)Hospitalization time,treatment cost and acute exacerbation: The patients in the test group had shorter hospital stays and lower treatment costs,with significant differences(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in the number of acute exacerbations between the two groups.Conclusion: Shufeng jiedu capsule combined with basic treatment of western medicine can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with AECOPD combined with cor pulmonale,reduce airway inflammation,shorten hospitalization time,reduce treatment costs,improve cardiopulmonary function,and improve the quality of life of patients.No adverse reactions occurred and the safety was high.
