Inhibitory Effect Of Tongling White Ginger On Harmful Oral Bacteria And Development Of White Ginger Chewable Tablets

Tongling white ginger is a well-known characteristic agricultural product in Tongling area.In addition to the medical value of dispelling wind and cold,stopping vomiting and purging,it also has the function of preventing oral diseases and dispelling the peculiar smell of oral cavity.In order to study the mechanism of removing breath from Tongling white ginger,it designed the inhibitory effect of Tongling white ginger juice on harmful bacteria in oral cavity.Firstly,beef paste peptone medium,starch nitrate medium and Lactobacillus selective Agar were used to inoculate oral bacteria on these three media and culture to observe the growth inhibition of oral bacteria.The optimum medium of beef extract peptone Agar was obtained.Then different concentrations of Tongling ginger juice were added to beef extract peptone Agar medium.The concentration of ginger juice in the experimental group was 0%,10%,20%,30%and 40%,respectively.The results showed that the medium supplemented with ginger juice had obvious bacteriostatic effect,and the mixed medium of beef paste peptone had obvious inhibitory effect on harmful oral bacteria,and the bacteriostatic effect was more obvious with the increase of ginger juice concentration.The bacteriostatic activity of 40%ginger juice mixed medium reached saturation.Two main bacteria(white bacteria and yellow bacteria)were identified by biochemical and 16S rDNA.They were identified as white Klebsiella and yellow Neisseria linseed.A large number of studies have shown that the two bacteria have strong resistance to the outside world and are easy to be resistant to most antibiotics.Therefore,the growth characteristics of these two colonies and the inhibitory activity of Tongling White Ginger on them were studied in this paper.The results showed that when the temperature was 45℃ and the pH of white ginger juice was 7,the growth inhibition of the two colonies was the most obvious.When the concentration of white ginger juice was 30%,the inhibitory effect on Klebsiella was the most significant,and when the concentration of white ginger juice was 20%,the inhibitory effect on Neisseria linseed was the most significant.With the increase of soaking time of filter paper in white ginger juice,the inhibitory effect on colony growth was stronger.The bacteriostatic effect of Klebsiella group tended to saturation after 5 min,while that of linseed Neisseria group began to saturate after 15 min.This characteristic also reflects the inhibitory effect of Tongling white ginger on the growth of Klebsiella and Neisseria linseed.In this paper,the bacteriostatic activity of Tongling white ginger juice on oral harmful bacteria and the inhibitory effects of Klebsiella and Neisseria linseed were studied.In this paper,white ginger chewable tablets were further developed,and the optimum ingredient ratio of the tablets was studied.The prepared White ginger chewable tablets have the nutritional and health care effects of dispelling breath,dispelling phlegm and relieving cough,spreading wind and cold and so on.The fillers used make the chewable tablets taste good.The optimum formula of the chewable tablets was determined as follows:the content of white ginger juice was 13 g,the content of dextrin was 30 g,the content of xylitol was 20 g,the content of microcrystal cellulose was 13 g,the content of ginger silk was 10 g,and the content of sucrose was 10 g.The content of Vitamin C was 2 g.The contents and conclusions of the experimental study not only provide a detailed bacteriological explanation for the oral cleaning effect of Tongling White Ginger,but also provide a certain reference value for related scientific or medical research.
