Objective:By analyzing the clinical phenotype of PCOS patients and the correlation between TCM syndrome type and the quality of life scale(PCOSQ and SF-36)score,the related factors affecting the quality of life of PCOS patients are judged, and the basis for better guiding clinical treatment and improving the quality of life of PCOS patients is provided.Method:To collect "acupuncture and clomiphene" on 1000 women with polycystic ovary syndrome.Information about PCOS women’s health-related quality of life questionnaire and SF-36 health questionnaire was collected. The information of four diagnosis and PCOS TCM Syndromes of TCM was collected and classified according to TCM Syndrome Differentiation Standard:Kidney deficiency and stagnation of liver,Phlegm-blood Stasis Syndrome,Kidney deficiency and blood stasis, spleen deficiency phlegm dampness. At the same time, the data of PCOS women’s demography, clinical and laboratory were collected, and the age, menstrual cycle, body mass index(BMI),pregnancy time and serum testosterone information were collected. The correlation between age, menstrual cycle,BMI,pregnancy time,Kaohsiung hormone,TCM syndrome type and PCOS patients’ quality of life were analyzed. All data are analyzed by SPSS 20 software package.Result:1.The scores of mental health and physiological function dimensions of SF-36 in 3 groups of different age groups were s ignificantly different(P<0.01).The score of physiological function dimension of age group was higher while mental health dimension score was lower. There was a significant difference in the scores of mental health between the 3 groups(P<0.05),and the hi gher the age group was,the higher the score of mental health was. There was no significant difference in the scores of the 3 groups of PCOSQ in different age groups.2.The scores of the 2 groups of SF-36 physiological function dimension,PCOSQ total score and menstrual disorder, obesity, hairy, infertility and emotional disorder were significantly different in different menstrual cycles(P<0.01).There was a significant difference in the scores of physical health between the 2 groups(SF-36)(P<0.05).The quality of life score of the longer menstrual cycle group was lower.3.There was a significant difference in SF-36 physiological function score,PCOSQ average score, infertility and obesity dimension score between the 3 groups of patients with different BMI(P<0.01).There was a significant difference in the scores of physical health between the 3 groups(P<0.01).The higher the BMI,the lower the PCOSQ average score and the lower score of obesity and infertility, the lower the score of SF-36 physiological function and physical health, and the poorer the quality of life.4.The average score of PCOSQ and the 3 dimensions of hirsutism, obesity and infertility in the 3 groups of patients who had different pregnancy time were statistically significant(P<0.05).The 3 groups of SF-36 total score and physiological function, overall health 2 dimensions score was statistically significant(P<0.05).The longer the infertile time, the lower the score of PCOSQ and SF-36,the overall score of life quality and physiological function, general health, hirsutism, obesity and infertility.5.There was significant difference in the score of PCOSQ,emotional disorder, hairy, obesity and SF-36 overall health in 2 groups of patients with or without glucocorticosteridemia(P<0.05).The quality of life of the Kaohsiung hormone group was worse than that of the non Kaohsiung hormone group with PCOSQ and hirsutism, mood disorders, obesity dimensions and SF-36 overall health.6.There were significant differences in the scores of PCOS-Q,SF-36 and mental health between the 4 groups of patients with different TCM syndromes(P<0.05).The PCOSQ and SF-36 scores in the kidney deficiency and blood stasis group were the highest. The PCOSQ score of phlegm and blood stasis group was the lowest, and the SF-36 and mental health score of the kidney deficiency and liver depression group were the lowest.Conclusion:1.The severity of the patients’ clinical phenotypes(age, menstrual cycle,BMI,trial pregnancy,Kaohsiung hormone, etc.)was consistent with the patient’s PCOSQ and SF-36 scale evaluation results,so the clinical phenotype severity of PCOS patients could affect the patient’s quality of life.2.The TCM syndrome types of PCOS patients can affect their quality of life. The type of phlegm and blood stasis in the 4 groups of TCM syndromes has the most serious impact on the quality of life of PCOSQ.The kidney deficiency and liver depression have the most serious impact on the quality of life of SF-36.
