Application Of Etomidate And Propofol Mixture In Anesthesia For Elderly Patients Undergoing Bronchoscopy

Background: In recent years,bronchoscopy has been widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases.Bronchoscopy is an invasive procedure that can induce suffocation,severe coughing,laryngospasm,arrhythmia and even cardiac arrest.Wait.General anesthesia improves the comfort of the patient,reduces the pain of the patient,and enables the patient to complete the bronchoscopy in a safe and pain-free manner.At present,propofol is the most common sedative for general anesthesia.The purpose of this study is to explore the application of a mixture of etomidate and propofol in general anesthesia for bronchoscopy in the elderly.Methods: 120 elderly patients(No gender limitation,age:60～80,ASA grades: I～ II)who underwent bronchoscopy were enrolled,randomly divided into propofol group(P group)and etomidate and propofol mixture(EP group),60 cases in each group.In group P,anesthesia was induced by sufentanil,propofol and cis-atracurium.Propofol+remifentanil was used to maintain anesthesia.The EP group was induced by anesthesia with sufentanil,etomidate and propofol mixture,cis-atracurium,and anesthesia was maintained with etomidate and propofol mixture+remifentanil.The vital signs,anesthetic dose,adverse reaction,postoperative cognitive function.RESULTS: The mean arterial pressure stability were significantly higher in the EP group than those in the P group.The recovery time of EP group were significantly lower than P group(P < 0.001).The incidence of hypotension was significantly lower than that in the P group(P<0.05).The results of NCSE evaluation showed that the memory ability,calculation ability and orientation force pass rate of the EP group were higher than those of the P group(P<0.05).The results of satisfaction evaluation showed that the scores of surgeons in the EP group were significantly higher than those in the P group,but there was no statistical difference in anesthesiologists and the patient satisfaction scores(P>0.05).Conclusion: The combination of etomidate and propofol mixture in anesthesia with Painless Tracheoscope for elderly patients has high efficacy and safety.
