| Objective:To explore the efficacy of parathyroidectomy(PTX)in the treatment of renal hyperparathyroidism(r HPT).Methods:The clinical data of 80 patients with r HPT who received PTX in the first affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2016 to January 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The changes of serum parathyroid hormone(i PTH),serum calcium, serum magnesium, serum phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase were compared before operation and 1 day,1 week,1 month,6months and 1 year after operation. The improvement of clinical symptoms, postoperative complications, operation success rate and recurrence were evaluated, and the number and pathological types of parathyroid glands were recorded. Results:Among the patients without loss of follow-up in the final analysis, except for the increase of alkaline phosphatase at 1 week after operation, the levels of i PTH,serum calcium, serum magnesium, phosphorus and alkaline phosphatase at different time after operation were lower than those before operation(P < 0.05).After follow-up,the symptoms of bone pain and skin pruritus were improved in varying degrees. There were 2 patients with temporary recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and 57 patients with hypocalcemia.79 patients(98.75%)were operated successfully. There were 4 patients with postoperative recurrence,2 patients with total parathyroidectomy(TPTX)and 2 patients with total parathyroidectomy plus autotransplantation(TPTX+AT).A total of 319 parathyroid glands were removed, including 76 parathyroid adenomas,127 parathyroid hyperplasia,114 parathyroid hyperplasia and 2 parathyroid adenomas with calcification. Conclusion:PTX is a safe and effective method for the treatment of r HPT. |
