Objective:We investigated the effects of total parathyroidectomy+autoplantation on treating patients of hyperparathyroidism secondary to chronic kidney disease by retrospective analysis of 15 cases. Methods:A total of 15 patients with Hyperparathyroidism Secondary to Chronic Kidney Disease were recruited. Clinical features, biochemical parameters and follow-up through phone calls were collected. We use KDQOL-SF to evaluate patients’ preoperative and postoperative quality of life.Results:1.With the increasing number of dialysis years, i PTH increases gradually, and the symptoms became more serious.2.The presence of postoperative hypocalcemia is 86.67%(13/15). It may be associated with the "bone hungary" status.3.The blood calcium is the lowest on the 1st day after surgery, and then it arises up. i PTH is the lowest on the 1st day after surgery, and then it stables on a constant level.4.The postoperative group owns a higher scores in sleep and pain space than preoperative group.5.When the dialysis years reaches over 7 years, symptoms, effects of kidney disease, physical functioning and emotional well-being will be inffected.
