Research On The Coordinated Development Of Commercial Health Insurance And Social Medical Insurance

In recent years,with the improvement of living standards and the aging of the population,Chinese residents have deeper needs for medical and health services and are becoming more and more diversified.The "wide coverage and basic insurance" characteristics of China’s social medical insurance means that it has shortcomings such as insufficient protection depth,and it is difficult to meet the growing medical and health needs of our residents.Commercial health insurance is in line with the service population and service methods of social medical insurance.Using commercial health insurance as an important part of China’s social medical security system can effectively make up for the shortcomings of social medical insurance,and provide our residents with deeper Level and more diverse medical and health protection.The relationship between the development of commercial health insurance and social medical insurance has become a hot topic of theoretical research.Based on the analysis of the current development status and existing problems of commercial health insurance and social medical insurance,this paper Using data from 29 provinces,municipalities,and autonomous regions in Chinese mainland(except Xinjiang and Tibet)from 2009 to 2017 as samples,according to the concept of coupling in physics,a function model,coupling degree model,and coupling coordination model of the commercial health insurance and social medical insurance systems were established.Empirical research from the three dimensions of national,regional and inter-provincial dimensions,the results prove that the two can be coupled and coordinated.At the same time,there are some differences in the degree of coupling coordination between the east,middle,and west,but the differences are gradually narrowing,indicating that the spatial distribution of the degree of coupling coordination tends to be balanced.Facing the continuous upgrade and change of people’s health protection needs,in order to further understand the functional positioning of commercial health insurance,explore the correct development path of commercial health insurance,and promote the better coupling and coordinated development of commercial health insurance and social medical insurance,this article proposes the following several suggestions: Acceleratepolicy improvement and create an environment for commercial health insurance participation;innovate a coordinated development model to promote the deep integration of health insurance and medical services;combine technologies such as big data to promote the professional development of commercial health insurance;and formulate development strategies based on regional differences.
