Objective: The purpose of this study is to explore the value of neut-rophil/lymphocyte ratio,monocyte-lymphocytes ratio,C-reactive protein,ery-throcyte sedimentation rate in judging the endoscopic activity of ulcerativ-e colitis and provided a new reference for clinical judgment of UC disea-se activity.Method: A total of 112 UC patients and 87 patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)who were hospitalized in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from August 2012 to August 2018 were included.The following data were collected: the general clinical data,the neutrophil count,monocyte count,lymphocyte count,ESR,CRP,and electronic enteroscopy results.NLR and MLR were Calculated.Statistical analysis was performed by using SPSS 21.0.Then,comparing the differences of NLR,MLR,CRP and ESR between UC group and IBS group.This study used the modified Mayo score to evaluate the UC endoscopic activity and compare the UC group NLR,MLR,CRP,ESR difference between active and healing period.The Mayo score endoscopic performance as 0 and 1 points were defined as the healing period,≥2 points was the active period,and comparing the differences of NLR,MLR,CRP and ESR between active and healing period.Correlation analysis of NLR,MLR,CRP,ESR and Mayo scores was conducted by Spearman correlation analysis.At the same time,the Montreal classification was used to group the patients in the UC group according to the lesion site,and analyzed the differences between NLR,MLR,CRP,and ESR in different lesion site groups,Then,Using NLR,MLR,CRP,and ESR as covariates,using binary logistic regression equation to generate joint judgment factors.drawing the ROC curve with NLR,MLR,CRP,ESR separately or joint of this four indexes so as to evaluated the value of NLR,MLR,CRP and ESR in judging of UC endoscopy activity.Results:(1)NLR,MLR,CRP,ESR in UC group were higher than that in IBS group(P <0.05);(2)The NLR,MLR,CRP and ESR in the active period of the UC group were higher than the healing period(P<0.05),and the levels of NLR,MLR,CRP and ESR were positively related to the Mayo score under the endoscope(P<0.05).NLR,MLR and CRP were in different lesions There was no statistically significant difference on NLR,MLR and CRP in different lesions(P>0.05);(3)The ROC curve of NLR,MLR,CRP,and ESR separately evaluating the UC endoscope activity separately suggested that NLR has the best efficiency in evaluating the UC endoscope activity,and the AUC was 0.795.When the cut-off value was 1.56,the sensitivity was 0.844,and the specificity was 0.687.In the ROC curve of joint NLR,MLR,CRP,and ESR,the AUC was0.850;When the cut-off value was 0.88,the sensitivity was 0.667,the specificity was 0.937.The index alone detection was better than the four combined detection to judge the UC endoscopic activity efficiency.Conclusion:1.NLR,MLR,CRP,ESR can reflect the endoscopic activity of UC patients and have a positive correlation with UC endoscopic activity,They can be used to monitor UC endoscopic activity.2.NLR,MLR,CRP,and ESR can provide a reference for clinical patients,especially those who are unable to undergo enteroscopy to judge the degree of UC endoscopy.
