Enriched ω-3 PUFA extruded flaxseed as experimental material. In order to provide the theoretical and research reference of functional enrich ω-3 PUFA of eggs, different contents of extruded flaxseed were added to the diet of laying hens, and the production performance, blood biochemistry, oxidation resistance, immunoglobulin content,anti-inflammatory cytokine and fatty acid composition of yolk were conducted.A total of 192,21-week-old Hy-Line Brown layers were randomly divided into 4treatments,namely the control group(CK),test group 1(T1),test group 2(T2)and test group3(T3).Each group consisted of 4 replicates with 12 birds per replicate. The nutritional level of all groups was basically the same, among which CK was the control group(basic diet),T1,T2 and T3 added 1.7%,3.4% and 5.1% extruded flaxseed, respectively.During the whole test process,it was divided into a pre-test for one week and a trial test for eight weeks. The eggs were collected on 0,2,4,6 and 8 week, respectively, and the production performance was measured and serum was collected.Egg quality, blood biochemistry, oxidation resistance,immunoglobulin,anti-inflammatory cytokine and fatty acid composition of egg yolk were analyzed.(1)With the increase of the amount of extruded flaxseed in the diet, the daily intake of T3 was significantly lower than CK,T1 and T2(P<0.05),and the average egg weight of T3 was significantly lower than CK(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the treatment groups. The feed-gain ratio of T3 was significantly lower than CK,T1 and T2(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in daily egg production rate(P>0.05).There were no significant differences among egg quality index except albumen height and Haugh unit(P>0.05).(2)Among the blood biochemistry, the enzyme content of ALT in T2 and T3 was significantly higher than CK and T1,and the enzyme content of AST in T1,T2 and T3 was significantly lower than CK.There were no significant differences in CRE,ALB,TP,GLU,TG,TCHO and ALP between the treatment groups(P>0.05).HDL of T1,T2 and T3 were significantly higher than CK(P<0.05),but LDL of T3 was significantly lower in other treatment groups(P<0.05).(3)The levels of Ig A,Ig G and Ig M in T2 and T3 serum were significantly higher than CK(P<0.05).The serum levels of IL-1β,IL-6 and IL-18 in the treatment groups were significantly lower than CK(P<0.05);the levels of IL-4 and IL-10 in serum were significantly higher than those in CK(P< 0.05).(4)The contents of ALA,DHA and ω-3 PUFA in egg yolk of T1,T2 and T3 were significantly higher than CK(P<0.05),which significantly reduced the ratio of ω-6 PUFA/ω-3PUFA(P<0.05).Afterwards,the contents of ALA,DHA and ω-3 PUFA in egg yolk of the treatment group no longer increased;the content of ω-6 PUFA,PUFA,SFA and MUFA in the egg yolk of each treatment group had no significant effect(P>0.05).In conclusion, the addition of 3.4% extruded flaxseed in laying hen diets can significantly improve laying performance, improve blood biochemistry, improve serum immunoglobulin, enhance anti-inflammatory capacity and improve the content of ALA,DHA and ω-3 PUFA in egg yolk.
