| Among the clinical diseases of cats,urolithiasis is a lower urinary tract disease that has received extensive attention.Feline urolithiasis is a general term for stones in various parts of the urinary system,and is more common in urethral stones and bladder stones.In pet clinical practice,feline urolithiasis should not be considered as a disease with a single etiology,but should be regarded as the result of the combined effect of various pathogenic factors.The veterinarian should conduct a comprehensive clinical examination and evaluation of the pet.At the same time,the removal of urinary stones does not mean the end of treatment,but the beginning of a series of treatment studies,so as to determine more effective prevention plans and treatment options.First of all,according to the existing epidemiological survey of cat urolithiasis,it can be seen that the disease has many pathogenic factors and is harmful to pets’ health.There is a high risk of surgical treatment.Conservative treatment has the characteristics of long cycle,easy recurrence and inappropriate radical cure.If the treatment and prevention of feline urolithiasis are to be studied in depth,it is necessary to establish an animal model of the disease,and there is no literature report describing the method of constructing an animal pathological model of feline urolithiasis.In order to solve the above problems,this project used glyoxylic acid as a stone-forming agent,and under the induction of the stone-attracting agent ethylene glycol,the cat model of urolithiasis was safely and effectively constructed in cats by intravenous injection.Within 21 days,a large number of crystals were produced in the urine of the experimental group,and the physiological indexes of urine and blood changed significantly.This will help indepth study of the mechanism of cat urolithiasis,so as to prevent and delay the formation of stone bodies,find new drugs that can prevent cat urolithiasis,and expand new ideas for the treatment of cat urolithiasis.value.In addition,the further development of gut microbiota sequencing technology enables more innovative breakthroughs in disease prevention and control methods,and also reveals the close connection between gut microbiota and various health problems.Existing studies have shown that gut microbiota can affect the pathophysiological indicators of urolithiasis to a certain extent.In this study,mixed antibiotics were used to interfere with intestinal flora and fecal bacteria transplantation,and the regulation effect of intestinal flora on physiological indicators of urolithiasis was verified in model cats with urolithiasis.Healthy flora can make some urine The physiological indexes of fluid and blood returned to a level with no significant difference with the control group(P>0.05),which delayed the development of the disease to a certain extent,and helped some physiological indexes to return to a healthy range,proving that the intestinal flora may be the future The potential options for the treatment or prevention of feline urolithiasis provide new ideas for in-depth research on feline urolithiasis in the future. |
