Effect Of Exogenous Substance On Seed Germination And Seedling Growth Of Cucumber

In this paper,HC04-40F1,“Jing You”cucumber and“De Nong N0.1”as the test material,studying the influence of three different comcentrations of exogenous substances treatments on cucumber seed.The three cucumber varieties had strong tolerance to sodium sulfate,and there was no significant difference between them.Relatively speaking,HC04-40F1 cucumber varieties are slightly better.The response of three cultivars to Na Cl stress was different.Na Cl stress no more than 150 mmol·L^-1promoted cucumber seed germination.HC04-40F1 cucumber varieties were more tolerant to Na Cl salt stress.Na HCO₃inhibited the germination rate of three cucumber cultivars.The inhibiting effect first increased with the increase of Na HCO₃concentration,and then tended to be the same.From the point of view of germination rate and germination potential,the order of salt tolerance of three cucumber varieties was“Jing You”cucumber>“De Nong N0.1”>HC04-40F1.In this paper,“Xin Tai Mi Ci”as the test material,studying the influence of three different comcentrations of exogenous substances treatments on cucumber seedling growth.Different concentrations of chlormequat and Uniconazole were used to irrigate and spray cucumber seedlings on the leaf surface.With the increase of concentration,the measurement indexes of cucumber seedlings showed a decreasing trend.Excessive concentration affected the normal growth of seedlings and formed stiff seedlings or old seedlings.Different concentrations of Paclobutrazol could inhibit seedling height,hypocotyl length and leaf size.Root irrigation with 100 mg·L^-1concentration of Paclobutrazol at cotyledon flattening stage could inhibit plant height and hypocotyl elongation of cucumber seedlings,and increase stem diameter.Irrigation root treatment is easy to operate and has good effect.
