The direct seeding technology of rice adopts mechanical methods to achieve row and uniform seeding,which saves time,labor,and money while increasing performance.The direct seeding technology of rice is a very good light cultivation technology under appropriate soil and climatic conditions,and it is also the growth pattern of rice planting.This paper investigated the problems of rice direct seeding machine’s single operation feature and poor seeding efficiency by using a rice ditch direct seeding machine.The following are the paper’s key study results and conclusions:(1)This paper examines the physical characteristics of three common types of rice seeds,including the shape characteristics of the seed size and particle size distribution,as well as the mechanical properties of thousand grain weight,sliding friction angle,and angle of repose,in order to provide a theoretical foundation for the design of a water drop style hole seed metering system.(2)According to the requirements of rice planting and agronomy,the working principle of rice ditching direct seeding machine is analyzed.The key parts such as flat grass installation,ditch opening and seed metering device of rice ditching direct seeding machine are studied.The design of the whole machine and the selection of power chassis for supporting machines and tools are completed.(3)By study of the physical characteristics of rice seeds and the requirements of rice direct seeding,a water drop type hole metering device for rice direct seeding is proposed.The working principle of the seed metering device is studied.The design parameters such as diameter of seed row wheel,number of hole and size of type hole are determined,and the factors affecting the performance of seed metering device are analyzed.The rice seed particles were modeled by software,and the seed discharging process of water drop hole seed metering device was simulated and analyzed.The intermittent motion mechanism of seed metering device was designed and its kinematics model was established.The theoretical model of intermittent motion mechanism was verified by kinematic simulation analysis of intermittent motion mechanism with software.(4)The rack and trencher’s structures are analyzed using software and mechanics,and the rack’s stress and deformation are investigated.The trencher’s soil velocity direction,velocity,and pressure distribution during field work are investigated.The trencher and the designed frame are received,and they meet the design specifications.(5)The prototype is designed,and field measurement tests on the performance parameters of plant distance consistency and seeding uniformity are conducted.The results show that the performance indices built in this paper for the rice ditching direct seeding machine all meet the technical requirements for rice direct seeding. |
