China is a large rice planting country,and rice is one of the main food crops in China meanwhile[1-2].Currently,the main rice planting methods in China are mechanical rice transplanting,mechanical direct seeding,manual sowing and seedling throwing.Rice planting,an important part of the rice production process,due to its strong seasonal characteristic and great labor intensity,is required to be completed in accordance with agronomic requirements in a short period of time,including the procedures of raising seedlings,transplanting seedlings or promoting seeding[8].The planting quality of rice directly affects its seedling,growth,and tillering[12],so does the efficiency of rice production[9].Selecting the proper rice planting methods based on different environments is an effective way in order to achieve stable and high yield of rice and improve productivity.Rice direct sowing avoids the shortcomings of traditional rice planting methods,such as heavy workload,high labor cost,and low operating efficiency.It contains the advantages of saving time and labor,bringing higher economic benefit with lower expense.In recent years,rice direct sowing has been widely promoted and put into practice.In order to further meet the standards of direct rice seedlings and solve the problems of uneven plant spacing and sloppy soil caused by uneven surface of the rice field,by researching the current development of rice direct seeding machine at home and abroad,this paper has proposed a novel rice direct seeding machine,based on the existing technology,the agronomic requirements for seeding and the analysis of the physical characteristics of the seeds.Moreover,this paper also involves the simulation analysis and experimental verification of the hydraulic profiling system of the rice direct seeding machine.The details of this article are as follows:1)Learning about the status of rice production,rice planting methods,research status of rice planting methods,and the current status of domestic and overseas research on rice seeder seeding devices through reading literatures.Elaborating the research background,the purpose of rice direct seeding machine,the design scheme and techniques applied in this research detailly.2)By analyzing the types of rice seeder seeders,explaining the strengths and weaknesses of each different seeder,the type of the seeder has been determined.New seeding device is designed after analyzing the movement and the mechanical property of the seeds while processing and factoring into the practices.Then employing the EDEM software to simulate the operation of the device,verifying the validation of the theoretical analysis.Providing theoretical evidences for the future optimization and improvement of this device.3)Discussing the working principle of the stimulation system of the rice direct seeding device.Designing the qualified hydraulic copying system.Calculating the parameter on the key parts of the hydraulic actuator and proofreading the intensity and stability of the actuator.The theoretical analysis on profiling slide valve,which briefly summarizes the influence of each key parameter on the system dynamic,lays a foundation for the subsequent stimulation.Performing the AMEsim and MATLAB-Sinulink simulation of the hydraulic profiling system to analyze the influence of the main parameters on the dynamic characteristics of the system.Through simulation analysis,further optimizing the profiling system parameters,making the design more practical.4)By means of bench tests,laboratory tests,field tests and analysis,verifying the rationality of the seed meter design.Examining the damage rate of the seeds and the appropriacy of the hole spacing to meet the agronomic requirements for rice direct seeding machines.The field test of the profiling system has further verified the rationality of the design.
