| In the middle of the Qing Dynasty,the more mature tussah silkworm stocking and silk reeling technology in Shandong began to spread to the northeast.The northeast area developed due to the excellent climatic conditions suitable for tussah silkworm growth and the tussah woods that were fond of tussah silkworms.The Qing Xianfeng ten years After(1860),some convenient transportation areas in the Northeast opened ports for trade,and the demand for Chinese tussah silk from Japan,Europe and the United States continued to expand,which further promoted the sound development of the tussah industry.Tussah sericulture in Shandong area has become the largest tussah cocoon and tussah silk production base in the country due to the lack of tussah resources.The development of tussah sericulture brought considerable economic benefits to the local society,and subsequently changed the daily life of the local people.Until the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,with the development of tussah sericulture,the lives of people in many tussah areas had changed from simple food and clothing to Relatively wealthy,the development and management of tussah sericulture soon faced fierce competition.Tussah silkworm production and breeding technology was introduced to the northeast,mainly distributed in areas below 600 meters above sea level,and the representative one is the Liaobei area in Fengtian Province.During the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty,due to the influence of the development of tussah sericulture in Fengtian Province,parts of Jilin and Heilongjiang also began to explore the development of tussah sericulture.So far,most prefectures and counties in the Northeast have regarded tussah sericulture as an important part of agricultural production.At the beginning of the advocacy,Fengtian Province established the Silkworm Bureau,which not only conducted detailed statistics on the resources of tussah in its jurisdiction,so as to expand the scale of sericulture stocking production,but also vigorously promoted new production and breeding technologies.Although some areas such as Heilongjiang and northern Jilin are trapped by their own natural conditions,the production and breeding of tussah sericulture has faced many problems from the beginning,but through the vigorous promotion of the government and the unremitting efforts of private sericulture people,the development of tussah sericulture has achieved good results.achievement.This article studies the management of tussah sericulture in the northern area of Liaoning in Fengtian Province in the late Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China,focusing on the analysis of the conditions and advantages of the development of tussah sericulture in the northern area of Liaoning,policy support and related laws and regulations.The difficulty lies in the production statistics and trade analysis of the tussah industry in northern Liaoning. |
