| Based on the five varieties of sweet corn as material,using randomized block design,through to the five varieties of sweet corn growth and development status of physiological characteristics,yield and quality of agronomic traits comparative analysis,screening of fresh sweet corn varieties suitable for Hunan region,providing theoretical basis for sweet corn production and development of Hunan research results are as follows:(1)The growth period of Xiangnong Tianyu No.1 xiangnong Tianyu No.2 was 3-4 days longer than the control period.The seedling emergence rate of Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 was the highest,and the seedling emergence rate of the tested sweet corn varieties was significantly different from that of the control varieties.The dry matter weight per plant of Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 was higher than that of the control and the other three varieties.Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 had the highest photosynthetic rate chlorophyll content and the strongest ability to absorb nutrient elements.(2)There were obvious differences in agronomic characters of sweet corn varieties.The leaf area per plant of the tested sweet maize varieties ranged from 12 leaf stage to maturity stage,and the leaf area per plant of Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 was the largest.The Plant height of the tested sweet corn varieties was lower than that of the control group except that Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 was higher than that of the control group from silking stage to maturity stage.Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 had the highest spike.(3)There were significant differences in the yield of sweet corn varieties.The variation range of bract fresh weight of the five sweet corn varieties was 329.73-377.73 g,and the variation range of bract fresh weight of the five sweet corn varieties was 242.86-291.20 g.From the perspective of fresh bract weight,fresh bract weight,fresh hundred grain weight and average panicle weight,Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 was the heaviest.Xiangnong Tianyu No.3,Xiangnong Tianyu No.2 and control reached a very significant difference.(4)There are some differences in the quality of sweet corn varieties.Xiangnong Tianyu No.3 had the highest content of soluble sugar,starch and soluble protein.The reducing sugar content of Yuetian No.16(CK)was the highest and the variation range of reducing sugar content was small.The results of correlation analysis showed that there was a significant positive correlation between yield and reducing sugar. |
