Hermetia illucens L.is considered one of the important resource insect with the most industrial potential.In recent years,more and more enterprises and institutions work have been done together to promote its industrialization process.Emerging industries face many difficulties in the development process due to immature production technology.One of the bottlenecks is the high production cost of the low-day-old larvae of H.illucens(newly hatched larvae ~ 5-day-old larvae),and the higher production cost of low-day-old larvae is one of the main reasons to prevent the progress of the industrialization of H.illucens.Complying with the characteristics of the aquaculture industry from simple to complex,from coarse to fine and standardization development,the research of the low-day-old larvae breeding technology is an important supplement to the industrialization of H.illucens,which has the practical significance of reducing costs and accelerating its industrial process.In this paper,the breeding technology of the low-day-old larvae of H.illucens was studied,the main results were as follows:1.Selection of culture substrates for low-day-old larvae.Three kinds of raw materials of wheat bran,spraying corn husk,barley powder and four kinds of compound ingredients of these three raw materials were used to feed the low-day-old larvae of H.illucens,respectively.The results showed that the survival rate of5-day-old larvae fed with wheat bran was the highest,68.45%,and the breeding yield was 11.68%.The management of breeding process was easy,and the breeding cost was the lowest.When the spray corn husk was used as the breeding substrates,the fever was serious.The survival rate of larvae was only 38.21%,and the yield of breeding was only 7.28%.The management of breeding process was very difficult,so it needed to cool and replenish water frequently.Barley flour,as the breeding substrate,had the characteristics of rapid water loss,high viscosity and serious surface caking.The larvae appeared death,refusals,escape and other anomalies,and the survival rate of 5-day-old larvae was only 12.18%.Among the four kinds of compound ingredients,the survival rate of 5-day-old larvae was the highest when the ratio of wheat bran,sprayed corn bran and barley flour was 1:1:1,reaching 56.45%,and the yield of breeding was 10.01%.The cost of feed was higher than the treatment of single wheat bran.Under comprehensive consideration,wheat bran is more suitable as a breeding substrate for the low-day-old larvae of black water fly than other raw materials.2.The effect of hatching density on the breeding of the low-day-old larvae of H.illucens.The development,feed utilization,difficulty of breeding management and cost analysis of the first hatching larvae of different quality of eggs in the process of eating the same quality of wet wheat bran were studied.It was showed that when the size of hatching container was 60 cm * 40 cm * 8 cm,and he culture environment were set as: temperature 30-32℃,humidity 50%-80%,good ventilation.Each plate was suitable for hatching 8-10 g eggs.3.The effect of feeding quantity on the breeding of the young larvae of the black water fly.The development,feed utilization,management difficulty and cost analysis of 8 g egg hatching larvae feeding on wet wheat bran of different quality were studied.Tt was found that 375 g of wet wheat bran was the most suitable food for 1 g hatching larvae.The survival rate of 5-day-old larvae was 67.58% and the yield of breeding was17.14%.The whole breeding management process was easy and the production cost was the lowest.4.The effect of water content of culture medium on the breeding of the low-day-old larvae of H.illucens.In this study,60%,65%,70%,75%,80% and 85%moisture content wet wheat bran were used as the feeding medium for the low-day-old larvae,and the development of larvae,feed utilization,difficulty of breeding management and culture cost were studied.The results showed that the initial water content of wheat bran suitable for hatching was 75%-80%,and that of wheat bran suitable for hatching was 70%-75%.5.The transfer of nutrient components in the culture medium during the breeding process of the low-day-old larvae of of H.illucens.The nutrient contents of culture medium,the low-day-old larvae and culture residue were analyzed.It was found that the nutrient composition of the culture medium affected the nutrient composition of the low-day-old larvae,and the density of the inoculated medium had no significant effect on the utilization rate of the crude protein in the culture medium,but the utilization rate of the crude fat in the culture medium increased with the increase of the density of the inoculated medium.6.The breeding technique of the low-day-old larvae of H.illucens.3 kg-3.2 kg wheat bran incubation medium(incubation medium moisture content 75%-80%)and8 g eggs were placed in an container with size of 60 cm*40 cm*8 cm.The culture environment were set as: temperature 30-32℃,humidity 50%-80%,good ventilation.When there was no other abnormal production(such as pathogen invasion),the hatching rate of eggs was more than 90%,and the survival rate of 5-day-old larva was 62.28%-65.53%. |
