| This experiment explored the effect of L-citrulline on the ram’s serum and seminal reproductive hormone levels and antioxidant properties by feeding different doses of L-citrulline to rams,so as to provide theoretical basis for improving reproductive performance of rams.in accordance with.Thirty-two 1-year-old healthy Turpan black sheep rams were selected for training to collect semen,with an average weight of(62.65±5.79)kg.After normal semen collection,they were randomly divided into 4 groups,namely the control group,the test group I,the test group II and the test group III,each group was 8.The control group was fed with basal diet only,and the experimental group was fed with 4g/d·only,8 g/d·only and 12 g/d·only L-citrulline on the basis of the control group.The test period is 60days.On the 0th,10th,20th,40th,and 60th days of the test,collect a semen sample.At the same time,blood was collected from the jugular vein on an empty stomach at 0th,15th,30th,45th,and 60th days of the test,collect blood sample.The results showed that compared with the control group,the serum levels of Gn RH,FSH,LH and T in the test group III were higher than those in the control group,which were increased by13.15%(P<0.01),33.86%(P<0.01),7.72%(P<0.01)and 16.99%(P<0.01)respectively compared with the control group;test group III CAT,SOD,glutathione The levels of GSH-Px and NO were high significantly higher than those of the control group,and were increased by 25.29%(P<0.01),8.61%(P<0.01),24.15%(P<0.01)and 7.10%(P<0.01),respectively;Compared with the test group,the control groups E2,ASAFR and IHFR content were significantly higher than the of test groups,41.51%(P<0.01),59.57%(P<0.01),63.76%(P<0.01),5.72%(P<0.01),10.49%(P<0.01)higher than those in test groupsⅠ,Ⅱ,andⅢ,respectively),15.09%(P<0.01)and 2.17%(P<0.01),3.80%(P<0.01),5.79%(P<0.01).In seminal plasma,the contents of Gn RH,LH and T in the test group III were higher than those in the control group,and were increased by 12.32%(P<0.01),13.17%(P<0.01)and 12.43%(P<0.01)respectively compared with the control group;the test group III CAT,SOD,GSH-Px and NO content is higher than the control group,and were increased by 23.45%(P<0.01),11.70%(P<0.01),15.39%(P<0.01)and 13.01%(P<0.01)respectively;compared with the test group,the contents of E2,ASAFR and IHFR in the control group were significantly higher than those in test groupsⅡan dⅢ,and were 27.68%(P<0.05)and 52.48%(P<0.05)higher than those in test groupsⅡandⅢ,respectively,16.91%(P<0.01),20.79%(P<0.01)and 3.72%(P<0.01),6.65%(P<0.01).Compared with the test group,the content of MDA in the control group was 47.47%higher than that in the test group III(P<0.01).In serum and seminal plasma,Gn RH,FSH,LH and T showed a very significant positive correlation(P<0.01);ASAFR,IHFR,CAT,SOD,T-AOC,GSH-Px and NO showed a very significant negative correlation Correlation(P<0.01),GSH-Px,NO,SOD,T-AOC showed a very significant positive correlation(P<0.01).Under the conditions of this experiment,supplementing citrulline(L-Citrulline,L-Cit)to Turpan black sheep rams can increase the level of reproductive hormones in the serum and seminal plasma and the antioxidant capacity of the rams.A comprehensive comparison of supplementary feeding 12 g/d·only,is the best dose. |
