Research On The Function And Value Evaluation Of Forest Ecological Service In Nanjing

Forest is an important part of the construction of ecological civilization,and it plays an irreplaceable role in maintaining ecological security and improving the ecological environment.With the continuous acceleration of urbanization,the hardened area continues to expand and urban environmental pollution（smog,PM2.5）is getting worse,the ecological function of forests has become a major concern of the whole society.In the past ten years,Nanjing has been adhering to the concept of"Let the forest enter the city,let the city embrace the forest"and green development,implemented the construction of urban forests and a modern international humanistic green city,and has won the National Forest City,National Garden City and other honors.Especially in the recent years of promoting the construction of ecological civilization,Nanjing has attached great importance to forestry ecological construction,practiced the concept that green waters and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains,and realized the coordinated development of forestry ecology,forest resources and forestry industry.This study collects a variety of materials including 2017 Nanjing forest resources planning and design survey results,the last two consecutive forest resource inventories results data in Jiangsu Province,survey data of 45 field plots with different forest soil types in Nanjing in 2017,economic and social public data released by authoritative institutions,publish similar research results in academic journals,industry standards and parameters,etc.This study comprehensively processes and analyzes the collected basic information and data,combined with economic and ecological theories and methods,estimated 9 indicators such as water conservation,carbon fixation and oxygen release,to assess the physical quantity and value quantity of the forest ecological service function in Nanjing.According to the assessment results,the value of forest ecological services in Nanjing in 2018 was30.001 billion yuan·a^-1.Among them:the value of water conservation is 17.031 billion yuan·a^-1;the value of soil fixation and fertilizer is 1.189 billion yuan·a^-1;the value of carbon fixation and oxygen release is 2.400 billion yuan·a^-1;the value of accumulated nutrients is 182 million yuan·a^-1;The value of air purification is 1.338 billion yuan·a^-1,and the value of cooling is 64 million yuan·a^-1;the value of forest protection is 798 million yuan·a^-1;the value of biodiversity protection is 2.473 billion yuan·a^-1,and the value of forest recreation is 4.526 billion yuan·a^-1.This study estimated the physical quantity and value quantity of forest ecological functions in Nanjing.This not only allows the forest ecosystem service functions to be displayed in the form of currency,is also an intuitive manifestation of"green water and green mountains are golden and silver mountains",but also can help people to quantify the value of forest ecological function services,and raise the whole society’s awareness of forestry ecological construction,to improve the status of forestry ecological construction.
