The development of forestry can not only create economic benefits, but also effectively protect the ecological environment.Effective data collection and monitoring of forestry ecosystem can better realize the sustainable development of forestry. However, due to the harsh forestry environment, large area and sparse population, the monitoring equipment is easy to damage, easy to fail, difficult to maintain and repair,it is necessary to build a monitoring network with self-organization and self-maintenance ability to ensure the continuity and effectiveness of data collection and monitoring. The wireless sensor network is self-organized,reliable and easy to maintain and manage, which can change the shortcomings of the traditional monitoring system and improve the monitoring effect. The research of WSN includes many aspects. This paper mainly studies the existing routing protocol of WSN and makes it adapt to forestry environment. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)This paper proposes an improved LEACH protocol based on residual energy and distance,in which the average distance and residual energy are added to optimize the probability of nodes being selected as cluster heads, the distance factor makes the distribution of cluster head nodes more reasonable, and the energy factor effectively reduces the probability of the node with lower residual energy being selected as cluster head node.Simulation results show that the protocol balances cluster head node selection, reduces intercluster energy consumption and prolongs network lifetime.(2)This paper proposes a clustering routing protocol based on particle swarm optimization,by adding distance weight, energy weight and frequency selection probability factor to the fitness function of PSO,the nodes which are more suitable for cluster head are selected, and the particle velocity and optimization precision are improved. Finally, the particle boundary value is adjusted to ensure the validity of the selected nodes. The simulation results show that the distribution of cluster-head nodes selected by the algorithm is balanced, and the data transmission is increased.(3)This paper proposes an improved LEACH protocol based on Dijkstra algorithm, which divides nodes into three kinds of roles by non-uniform clustering, through improving Dijkstra algorithm to find the best data transmission path, the lower cluster-head node is simulated. The result shows that the node’s survival time and the network’s life cycle have been greatly improved. Finally, the comparison of these three protocols shows that LEACHHD protocol is suitable for networks with low computing power of nodes, and WDPSO protocol has better performance under large network scale, and Dijkstra-LEACH protocol is suitable for smaller networks.Running different routing protocols in a specific scenario can maximize the efficiency of forestry production and improve the robustness of the network.
