performance,immunity and antioxidation.A total of 400 1-day-old Ross 308 broilers were selected and randomly divided into 4 groups,with 10 replicates in each group,and 10 broilers in each replicate.Broilers in control group were fed a basal diet,and the others in experimental groups were fed the basal diets supplemented with 3.2 mg/kg,4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin(3.2 mg/kg,4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin group).The trial period was 42 days,with 1 to 21 days in the early period and 22 to 42 days in the later period.The results showed that:1)The effects of quercetagetin on the growth performance of broilers are as follows.Compared with the control group,adding 3.2 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the 21-day-old body weight and the average daily gain of broilers(P<0.05).Adding 3.2 mg/kg and 4.8 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly reduce the broiler feed-to-weight ratio of 1 to 21 days(P<0.05).Adding 4.8 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the average daily gain of 22 to 42 days of broilers(P<0.05),and significantly reduce the feed to gain ratio of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the apparent metabolic rate of 21-day crude fat(EE)and 42-day crude protein(CP)of broilers(P<0.05).Adding 4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the apparent metabolic rate of 42-day crude phosphorus(P)of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 4.8 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the semi-eviscerated rate of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the total evisceration rate of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase liver index of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 4.8 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the height of villi of jejunum and ileum of broilers(P<0.05).Adding quercetagetin to the diet can significantly reduce the crypt depth of jejunum and ileum of broilers(P<0.05),and significantly increase the villus height/crypt depth of jejunum and ileum of broilers(P<0.05);Adding quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the serum total protein content of broilers(P<0.05).2)The effects of quercetagetin on the immune indices of broilers are as follows.Compared with the control group,on d 21,adding quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the content of white blood cells(WBC),red blood cells(RBC)and hemoglobin(HGB)of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 3.2 mg/kg and 4.8 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the serum complement 4(C4)content(P<0.05)of broilers.On d 21,adding 4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the serum immunoglobulin M(IgM)content of broilers(P<0.05).On d 42,adding quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the serum immunoglobulin G(IgG)content of broilers(P<0.05).3)The effects of quercetagetin on the antioxidant indices of broilers are as follows.Compared with the control group,adding 3.2 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC)of serum of broilers(P<0.05).On d 21,adding 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the activity of serum superoxide dismutase(SOD)of broilers(P<0.05).On d 42,adding quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the activity of serum SOD of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 4.8 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the T-AOC of the jejunal mucosa of broilers(P<0.05).Adding 4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the T-AOC of the ileal mucosa of broilers(P<0.05);Adding 3.2 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly reduce the malondialdehyde(MDA)content in the liver of broilers(P<0.05).Adding 6.4 mg/kg quercetin marigold can significantly increase the activity of SOD in the liver of broilers(P<0.05);Adding quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the expression of nuclear factor E2 related factor 2(Nrf2)gene mRNA in the liver of broilers(P<0.05).Adding 4.8 mg/kg and 6.4 mg/kg quercetagetin to the diet can significantly increase the mRNA expression level of the liver copper-zinc superoxide dismutase(SOD1)gene of broilers(P<0.05).In summary:the addition of quercetagetin in the feed can effectively improve the antioxidant performance of broilers by regulating the Keap1-Nrf2-ARE signaling pathway,and improve the immunity of broilers,and improve the intestinal tissue structure of broilers,and promote the digestion and absorption of nutrients in the intestine of broilers,thereby
