Investigation Of The Application Of Chinese Veterinary Technology In The Prevention And Treatment Of Pet Dog Diseases And Analysis Of Typical Cases

In recent years,with the rapid development of the pet industry,clinical diagnosis and treatment techniques for pet diseases have also been continuously improved.Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine has its own unique advantages as a traditional Chinese veterinary medicine.As an important part of traditional Chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture,Chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture are more and more widely used in pet clinical applications.Based on Chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture and other Chinese veterinary technologies in preventing and treating pet dog diseases and maintaining pet dog health,we investigated the current status of veterinary technology development by pet doctors in 23 provinces,5 autonomous regions,and 4 municipalities,and the status of pet owners’ expertise in Chinese veterinary medicine.The demand situation provides guidance for the application of Chinese veterinary technology in the prevention and treatment of pet dog diseases.This research uses questionnaires and field trips to conduct research.The survey of veterinarians focuses on their mastery of the theoretical knowledge and professional skills of Chinese veterinarians,the frequency of application of Chinese veterinary technology in preventing and treating pet dog diseases,and the recognition of the efficacy of Chinese veterinary technology in treating pet dog diseases.The rule of selection of points for the treatment of hind limb paralysis caused by lumbar disc herniation in dogs was statistically analyzed.For pet dog owners,we mainly investigate their acceptance and satisfaction with Chinese veterinary technology to prevent and treat diseases,as well as the specific types of diseases that have received Chinese veterinary technology to prevent and treat diseases.In this survey,264 cases of pet doctors and pet dog owners were involved,and 525 valid questionnaires were collected.The pass rate of the questionnaire was 99.4%.The survey results show that: 1.In terms of the degree of recognition of Chinese veterinary drugs,61.69% of veterinarians and 53.41% of pet owners believe that Chinese veterinary drugs are effective.In terms of acupuncture recognition,62.45% of veterinarians and 54.17% of pet owners believe that acupuncture has a good effect.2.Veterinarians and pet owners have a high degree of recognition of Chinese veterinary medicine and acupuncture.They believe that the proportion of Chinese veterinary medicines is 78.16% and 73.11%,respectively,and the side effects are small(77.01% and 73.48%).The comprehensive treatment effect of acupuncture and other therapies is outstanding,70.5% and 53.41%respectively.3.Pet doctors and pet owners praised the use of Chinese veterinary medicine for the treatment of intractable pet dogs accounted for 67.43% and 65.91% respectively;and recommended the use of acupuncture to treat pet dog movement disorders and paralytic diseases accounted for 85.06% and 67.8% respectively.4.In the treatment of pet dog diseases,the proportion of pet doctors and pet owners choosing to use Chinese patent medicine is75.48% and 60.61% respectively;in the prevention and treatment of pet dog diseases by pet doctors,the use of white acupuncture is up to 63.98%,and moxibustion is up to 70.88%.;The highest rate of pet owners choosing white acupuncture is 48.11%,and the highest rate of moxibustion is 68.18%.5.95.79% of veterinarians are confident in the development of Chinese veterinarians in the field of pet diagnosis and treatment,and 89.02% of pet owners believe that Chinese veterinarians have a promising future.6.The proportion of combined Chinese and Western medicine used by veterinarians in the treatment of canine distemper,canine infectious hepatitis and parvovirus disease is 65.15%,51.52% and 58.33% respectively;veterinarians are treating the digestive system,respiratory system,and respiratory system of pet dogs.For circulatory system,reproductive system,urinary system,nervous system,and senile diseases,use traditional Chinese veterinary therapy to treat canine diarrhea,canine cold,canine anemia,canine infertility,canine nephritis,canine paralysis,canine scabies and canine senile constipation,The highest proportions are 65.15%,50.76%,48.48%,40.15%,42.05%,63.26%,46.59% and 57.58% respectively.7.After analyzing 53 cases of pet dog IVDD caused paralysis,it was found that the incidence of Pekingese Dogs was relatively high,accounting for 39.62% of the total cases;dogs aged 5-7 years old were more susceptible to the disease,accounting for 45.28% of the total cases;male incidence rate The higher accounted for 79% of the total cases;67.92% of the dogs who suffered from acupuncture and moxibustion could recover their health within 1-2 months.8.After investigating and analyzing the acupoint selection rules of 53 cases of pet dog paralysis caused by IVDD by veterinarians using acupuncture and moxibustion,it was found that after Ashi point was excluded,48 acupoints were involved,and the total frequency of use reached 726 times.From the analysis of frequency of use,Baihui and Housanli are the most frequently used points(53times);from the analysis of the location of the acupoints,there are 25 hindlimb acupoints,343 times of use,and 21 acupoints on the trunk,379 times of use;From the analysis of the acupoints to the meridians,the Futaiyang Bladder Meridian has the highest frequency of use,with 10 acupoints,189 times in total.From the analysis of specific acupoints,the frequency of use of five acupoints is the highest,with 9 acupoints used 176 times.9.In order to verify the validity of the experience of selecting acupoints,a pet dog whose intervertebral disc was paralyzed was selected for acupuncture treatment.Electric acupuncture + white acupuncture:Baihui,Mingmen,Yaoyangguan,Shenshu,Weigen,Hou Sanli,Eryan,Huantiao,Yanglingquan,Hou Liuqiang.Water acupuncture: Injection of vitamin B1 and vitamin B12 at Baihui point,0.3 ml per point.In conjunction with massage therapy,press acupuncture points on Huatuo Jiaji,Weizhong,Huatuo,Yongquan,Yangling and tenderness points.After 32 days of treatment,the dog is basically back to normal and can walk and run normally.The results of the survey show that Chinese veterinary technology is effective in preventing and treating pet dog diseases.The application of Chinese veterinary technology in the prevention and treatment of pet dog diseases has important clinical practical significance.
